I received a defective device. Blu refused to replace with a working model, and their warranty company only offered to "repair" the phone, and that would take up to 2 weeks. I did not buy a new phone, to end up with a refurb after a few months!
Returned phone to Best Buy, who swapped me out for a replacement - THAT WAS ALSO DEFECTIVE. GPS never works, SD card causes the phone to constantly crash. I need to shut the phone off & take the battery out at least 4x a day. Basically inoperable.
Have been going in circles for 2 MONTHS trying to get a working phone - not this model. They have constantly lied:'
1 - about their customers not having an issue w/ their warranty company (check BBB)
2 - about being a US company (return address is to a freight forwarder)
3 - about receiving a replacement
An "F rating is not low enough. Stay far, far away from this company.
Their practices and methods should not be tolerated in the US. Competely unacceptable.
I bought BLU’s garbage phone PURE XL. The charging port stopped working after several months. I sent it back to BLU for repair and they turned around and sent it right back to me, unrepaired and in the same condition I sent it to them in. So I sent it back again, still not working, and they in turn send the Energy XL which is cheaper than the PURE XL, and I get no refund of the price difference. I Contacted BLU about it and they are very nonchalant and uncaring and they said oh well you either get the difference in price of the two phones (which is about $50 something) or you can take the Energy XL. So I paid for one phone and ultimately have to take a cheaper model for the price of the more expensive one. They are thieves/crooks....and their phones are garbage
