Alaxic smith and azeem khan at blasè labs / blasè agency, llc were hired on november 8th, 2016 to build a dating app for ios. The dating app was due to be completed on december 23rd, 2016 with designs pre-made by our designer. Initially, alaxic smith and azeem khan were paid 100% of the total project cost Huge mistake) - $11,250.00 via wire transfer. It is now february 13th, 2017, and after numerous attempts to get them to do so - they have not delivered a complete / finished product as promised. The most that has been delivered is a skeleton, far from a finished product.
According to blasè labs and their website, they have developed huge projects for the likes of pink dolphin, rae sremmurd, and more.
A company with this caliber of work should be able to deliver on time and with complete satisfaction.
Right? Wrong.
Communication with alaxic, the main developer, was smooth at first. That is until the december deadline approached. Failed promise after failed promise ensued. Paragraph-length text messages were sent. Ultimately, we were left empty handed and at an $11,250 loss. Below is a storyline of what happened. Story is rough overview.
November 9th, 2016 - skype conversations began with discussion of details. Conversations continued on skype intermittently until january 5th. In between there, on january 2nd, alaxic claims that the holidays have been a s**t show and that blasè would have the app finished and sent over by the following thursday.
January 5th, 2017 - text messaging starts here. Alaxic notes that he is "putting some final touches on the build right now. Everything is on track. Sweet!"
January 6th, 2017 - the weird things begin. By this time, we are nearing almost a month past due. Alaxic asks if we have received the build. We had not received the build. Alaxic says to give him another 15 minutes and by the next day at 9:07 pm, he still had not sent the build. This behavior continues over the next days, at which point instead of sending the build, alaxic claims he is sending a video of the app. The video never arrives.
January 14th, 2017 - alaxic finally sends the build, in the form of an xcode archive. App does not run and requests are made to get the actual project. Multiple excuses and delays ensue, again.
January 16th, 2017 - after a lot of bugging, alaxic finally sends the correct project. Except, wait a minute, it's not anywhere near complete. The app fails to login through facebook, and we request another build. Multiple excuses and delays ensue once again.
After a lot of back and fourth following this, it is determined that the app is no where near complete. The app now, after almost 3 full months of supposed development time, is still in skeletal pieces. The app logs in with facebook, and shows basic views. Experienced developer friends confirm that the app is indeed a skeleton and we were ripped off.
January 25th, 2017 - azeem khan gets in touch. Claims that it is a mystery as to why this project is so behind and that alaxic claimed it was on track. Screenshots were sent to azeem in attempt to prove that alaxic had been severely lacking on the delivery of the project. Paragraphs of texts were sent and eventually azeem started a group chat with alaxic.
January 31st, 2017 - still no solid app has been delivered. The group chat is in full swing, and alaxic once again makes a false claim that by friday january 3rd, we'd have a finalized product. We request a refund. Alaxic claims the reason the app isn't working now is due to their heroku server not having enough space. We make an account and send it along. Days pass, no reply.
Friday february 3rd, 2017 - now almost two full months behind schedule, we text them to let them know that they need to either send a refund or we will post about this on outscam. We gave them one week. It has been a few days over a week since then and we have no refund or reply.
Blasè labs, blasè, alaxic smith, azeem khan and anything / anyone related to this company are are complete fraud.
