On October 30, 2016, I ordered Shinecon Glasses for $59.99 using a Visa gift card I received. I never received the item. I contacted Blackhawk and filed a dispute.
Today, January 17, 2017, Blackhawk informed me that there was no error and the case was closed. I have no idea how they knew that since I have never heard from the company that took my money. The bottom of the letter gave me a phone number to call if I needed to talk to someone.
I called the number and was informed that the case was closed so they could not do anything. I said, well, I'd like to know how anyone closed it, and why this phone number is in the letter. All he kept saying is that he had no records as the case was closed. No, he didn't have any other place I could call. Obviously they did no investigation.
These people are nothing but cheats and liars. I told the company that sold the glasses that they have until tomorrow to answer me or they are going on Ripoff and Facebook.
I bought a reloadit pack at a local grocery store and paid with cash. I had called PayPal three times to make sure I bought the right card in order to load my PayPal balance. I researched online and read many procedures. No one and nowhere did I find two responses to match. All I found was different answers. Since the reloadit pack says on the inside that it partners with the PayPal MC, I bought it. I put all the money I have to live on for a month on that card. I got to the website and have been unable to create an account or access any funds. I'm literally without a penny now.
I've called customer service for three days, getting the IT department difficulties story... Call back in a few hours if not fixed. Of course it's not fixed and now I read on-line this has gone on a few years. Why the **** is this operation still working?? Why the hell aren't they shut down? I was hung up on, given the run around and then told they would be willing to offer me a refund in 30 business days. Willing?? 30 days?? Are they out of their freakin minds?? I need to eat, pay bills, buy some Christmas presents for my daughter and they're playing games?? This is hideous. What the hell good are these reporting agencies if nothing is done? This is freakin criminal. I DEMAND JUSTICE.
Purchased a gift card at a local store for our daughter. She used a portion of the card and did not use for a while. They turned off the card due to inactivity. We called and they agreed to send a repalcement card. The card arrived and when we tried to activate it, the system would not register or activate the card. When we call they tell us we can only activate online and when we request to speak with a supervisor we are put on hold and no one ever picks up the line. This company seems to be running a huge scam.
My money has been frozen and is being withheld from me because I used MY money to put a down payment on a new car 10 days ago. I was contacted ONE TIME by "risk management" and they left a voicemail 8 days ago with their phone number and my case number with instructions for me to contact then back on their line. Since day one I have been calling and trying to resolve this issue with my money being held and have had no luck. Customer service at Paypower are very nonchalant about my issue and I am told that they cannot help me and that I have to talk to the person handling my case over at risk management. Every single time I call risk management I am on hold for two-five hours at a time until my phone loses signal or phone dies while I'm at work. I have called every day for the past week and have left messages but my call is never picked up and I never get a call back...I'm beyond upset and frustrated. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. I feel so helpless and don't know what I need to do to get my money off of this card. I have since changed my direct deposit to my bank account and I will never EVER use Meijer Paypower again. I feel like I've been robbed... I trusted this company and they took hundreds of dollars from me. The way I have been treated I'm pretty sure I won't get my money back unless I take legal actions... Which I see happening in the near future....
