I enrolled in the Bitcoin Mentor Club in December 2017 after viewing an online webinar. The cost of enrollment was $1997.00 which I paid via PayPal Credit. I was intrigued by the idea of making money online trading crypto currencies and felt protected by the 100% money back guarantee described in the promotional literature. I also felt protected by PayPal. I was totally wrong on both counts.
After reviewing the membership site and watching some of the training videos, I quickly learned that the trading process was much more difficult than described in the webinar. The risk of financial loss was also much greater than portrayed and too high for my liking. Based on these facts I decided to request a refund of my $1997.00 enrollment fee.
The 100% satisfaction guarantee reads as follows: "We want you to be 100% satisfied...which is why your investment today is backed by our 60 day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason within your first 60 days, simply let us know and we'll promptly refund your investment completely".
I emailed support requesting a refund and they responded via email asking for a reason for the refund request. I explained my reasoning in an email response. I received another email from Jeff Rubin, Relationship Manager at Infinitus Research asking for a phone conversation. I called Mr. Rubin and discussed at length my reasons for the refund request. Mr. Rubin verbally agreed to the refund and stated that he would have customer service process the refund.
What followed was a series of emails from customer service stating they could not find a record of the transaction. I provided a copy of the tranaction receipt to verify my purchase. I was then told that the refund was being processed and that I should have it in a few days. Needless to say, the refund never came. All I received from the vendor is a string of BS emails filled with tons of excuses why I had not yet received the refund. They promised the refund on multiple ocassions, but never sent it to me.
I called Jeff Rubin back and left a voicemail explaining my plight. He never called me back. He did send me an email stating that he no longer works for the company. I contacted customer service and they sent a response noting that they received my support ticket, but they never followed through or contacted me after the verification email.
Cecil Robles and his gang of thieves never had any intention of complying with the refund policy. I was never going to get my $1997.00 back from them. I am attempting to resolve the issue with PayPal, but they are very vendor friendly and seem unwilling to look at the cold hard facts of the situation.
Stay away from Cecil Robles, Bitcoion Mentor Club, Infinitus Research and Genesys Financial Group...they are all dishonest!!
