This is my second Bissell Symphony Vacuum/Steam Mop, the first one gave out one year after it's warranty expired and $250 later. This one I have had only 2 weeks and it's not a steam mop as Bissell represents, it's a wet mop. I can mop 4 rooms and go back to room number one and water is still sitting on the floor. What's worse, the water is barely warm so there is absolutely no sanitizing of my tile floors. Step on the steam mop plate and you are greeted with a puddle of water.

Don't waste your money and Bissell's customer service absolutely sucks when it comes to consumer complaints. A friend has the Oreck Steam Mop and has had it for years - she swears by it. I have an Oreck Mellinium vacuum and swear by that so I will just return Bissell's garbage to Bed Bath Beyond for a refund and Oreck here I come for my new Steam Mop. Bissell is not a member of the Better Business Bureau (for obvious reasons) and they sell a garbage product.

My conversation with the issue-- Truly insulted by your lack of accountability for your own "company's" actions. Example - I have reviewed the previous representative's email and I'm sorry if he forgot to mention that the DeepClean Lift-Off was on a limited time offer only (72-hour promotion) and the promotion probably expired by the time that you want to purchase it. Your satisfaction will always be our primary concern You're sorry IF he forgot? There was never a question about that. FORGOT? Great customer service and support by your employees, note my sarcasm. PROBABLY expired? Again, your own representatives don't know? Seriously? On the same day I received the initial response, the machine was at full price. Same day!! My satisfaction is your primary concern? How many times do you think you can state falsehoods before you are held accountable? I never asked for a discount or sale in my initial email. It was your employee that made the offer known to me. So I was deceived from the beginning. Isn't that wonderful?? Great job guys!!! At no point in your response did you accept any responsibility for the actions and statements made by your employee. At no point was there evidence of true customer service and support. In fact, you actually made a sales pitch to me instead of resolving the issue! I am of the opinion that your company is nothing but a scam with con artists as your employees. Yes, I purchased the machine. Only because it is exactly what I need. Were there other companies that made a similar machine, I would have gladly paid them more just so your company wouldn't profit from me. I'm thoroughly disappointed and disgusted with Bissell in general now. Here's the last straw for me---- This is what my issue was about. Talk about insulting. Just received this email shown above!!! This is the promo that I feel your company representative scammed me on. I paid full price for this machine instead of the price stated by your representative which you apparently and obviously did not honor or accept responsibility for. I will be reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau. I will continue to let people know what Bissell really stands for. I will continue to make sure that my friends and family NEVER purchase any product made by Bissell. Was the $60 worth it now? Maybe next time you should consider upholding your promise of customer service as your primary concern. I cannot stress enough just how much disrespect and just deceit I have been subjected to by this company.
