My husband ordered a free 30 day trial and did not see the very fine print about the 85.00 bucks a month that would follow automatically. We moved the following month and didn't notice the recurring charges until 2 months later.
I called to explain that we never received any product except the trial and would like a refund. I was offered a new bottle of the product and I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was rerouted to the main call center and spoke to another rep, who said he happened to be a supervisor and offered me 35% off the last charge, then when I asked for his supervisor he offered me 50%. I accepted the 50% and still asked to speak to his supervisor.
I was placed on hold for another 15 minutes until another "supervisor" answered, and offered me 75% refund. Each person tried to talk me out of talking to their supervisor, and that it would be a long wait, there wasn't anything else they would do for me, etc. The last "supervisor" Steve told me they couldn't give out last names for security purposes, and that all he could tell me is his manager's name is "Amir."
Each person explained to me all the things I could have done to prevent this situation, and this it wasn't "on them", disregarding that I never actually received any thing for the 85 bucks a month being paid.
I ordered the $9.95 trial Bio Slim Garcinia. To be able to get that, I had to buy another bottle of diet pills. The total ended up being $34.95. I thought "worth a try". WHAT A SCAM. I read online about this being a scam....too late. I called my credit card company to get a new card with new number issued. They sent me a new card...same credit card number. You guessed it. I was billed $79.95 and $69.95 on my credit card bill from this "outfit" from Florida.
I called them and said somewhere in "fine print" there is a 14 day cancellation period. Nowhere on the ad or the email did it say such a thing. I asked about the charges...they said "To Late" ..new order has been shipped. It is too late because they have already charged my credit card. They kind of hung up on me!
HOW CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THESE SCAMMERS???
