Many angry customers who paid BINJI Fin tech $89 and then were abruptly shut down from loading as promised are hoping to sue the company.
BINJI promised its card device could store information and consolidate up to 25 other payment cards, saving customers the bother of carrying wallets filled with different cards. The card cannot consolidate as advertised or loaded.
We are hearing that Binji customers want to file a class action lawsuit against the company, which they describe as a "fraud card." Each card cost $89, and in its terms of conditions promises features that don’t even exist like: Loyalty, Credit Card and Debit Loading and Peer to Peer payments.
One upset customer has set up a Twitter account just for the class action suit and is encouraging others to join the case. According to one source: "A class action lawsuit is being started against BINJI to ensure anyone who bought this fraudulent card is paid back and that BINJI is responsible for chargebacks."
We learned the California and Taiwan company announced yesterday that their CEO Ryan Marquis has resigned. This occurred only months after BINJI let their founder and CTO go. It makes us question if BINJI is considering bankruptcy.
Currently the company is being managed by Lily Ou and George Ou a husband and wife based in Taiwan with a satellite office in Irvine California. George Ou is also the Chairman of Smart Displayer of Taiwan who produced the BINJI card.
