I was contacted by jocylyn a producer of the tv show Hot Bench as I was being sued. I have a mobile pet grooming business and my groomer accidentally cut a small dog that was out of control....I refused to pay vet bills because the planintiff instructed my groomer to finish the job after being told that the dog was out of control. All parties agreed to appear on the show on Feb 10 2015....I lost the case however the show pays off the plaintiff and also pays Me the defendant $500 for appearing and $100 for each of my withnesses. One of which was a bather and the other was the actual groomer. They recieved their monies however I did not. When I contacted Jocylyn she told me she would look into it and get back to me which she never did, I had to keep calling her....she said the accountant said that a check was sent to me however I never recieved it....She refused to give me the accountants phone number or name. I gave up eventually however I came across the paperwork for the show and it refueled my anger. I called the number provided and spoke to a different girl, name I cant recall and told me she would relay the message to original producer named Jocylyn and hung up on me. I called my bank and confirmed with them that a check from this company was never cashed or deposited into my account. I want justice....they are well funeded tv show who shouldnt ripoff the people who take the time to appear so they can continue to stay on the air.
