Went into the dealership to look at inventory....sat down with sales rep (Bani Holcombe), who informed me that I would qualify for a 2017 Regal. Just so happen he had one at the front entrance to the show room. Gave me the keys to test drive. Drove the vehicle, it was fully loaded (same as the one that I was trading), except it had a navigation system. Two tone interior, leather heated seats back up signal, auto start. It had 4400+ miles. Informed him that I liked the vehicle, took a while to get all the paperwork in order. Then he asked if I could come back the next day because there was something missing in the paperwork, but not to worry every thing would be ready by the next business day.
When I came back the next day he informed me "You are going to be happy, we have another one in just like the one you test drove yesterday with the only difference being is that this one has less miles.
of course I am all in, less miles same car same price, ok. Got in different interior, Bani then informed me that that was the only difference in the car was the interior. Well needless to say that wasn't the only thing, no rear back up signal, no auto start and no nagvigation system. When I pointed this out to him he said that it was on the car I just had to activate it. Not! After trying to work with them for 2 months, I contacted customer service at GM...Who ended up giving me a gift card for the starter, they also informed me that Mr. Moyer the GM for Betten Baker Buick at the Grandville location (where I purchased my vehicle) would be in contact with me regarding installation of the back up signal....Needless to say, after a month of no contact from him.
I contacted the better business bureau. Who too the dealers side. Mr. Moyer informed them that I had visted the lot 3 times and never memtioned that I was not satisfied with the vehicle. Which was not true, I indicated that to Bani Holcombe on the second day, and after a week. I even went so far to request the return of my vehicle that I had traded in. He informed me that he didn't know where my vehicle was. Therefore, by them switching cars and informing me that they were identical (and they werent), this constitues a FRAUD on their behalf.
