Best Quality Chinese Motorcycles Reviews
Aug 13, 2023
About a year ago I ran across the website for Best Quality Chinese Motorcycles on a site123.me site, the prices on their motorcycles and trikes were really amazingly low. After contacting them by email and asking a lot of questions, I searched them out on scam and fraud detection sites and could not find any negative feedback. One stopper for me was that the only payment option was international bank transfer, which offers no real protections. I was assured however, by Mr. Chen Mike of Best Quality Chinese Motorcycles, that this was normal operating procedure for a purchase from an international company.
After clearly asking what the full price I would be expected to pay would be, including shipping, taxes, and import fees, I placed an order for a $1500 trike, pictured here, plus $1000 for shipping. Mr. Chen Mike had said in response to my question that this payment was for the full purchase including all charges. They issued me an invoice, but then the following day I received another invoice from Realtime Global Logistics Services for another $2588! I immediately responded, asking why I was being charged this additional fee when I had already asked what the full price including all shipping, taxes and import fees would be. I was informed that the $1000 shipping fee "did not cover the international shipping charges".
What followed was a lengthy email exchange in which I first formally requested a full refund on April 10. The company stonewalled me for over 4 weeks and then finally agreed on May 11th and 12th to give me the refund if I sent them the financial information. I did, but then they wrote me back saying that the "demurrage charges" from the shipping company exceeded the purchase price so that they could not issue the refund. I wrote back letting them know that I would be pursuing every avenue and agency that I could find and think of to report these fraudulent business practices, and they basically called me a liar and said I was blackmailing them. After I left some very negative reviews for them, they "suddenly" found a new buyer for the trike and said they would refund the whole amount, but only if I took down and retracted the negative reviews. I did this and sent them confirmation of it, but they never sent the funds and once again ignored my emails. Then they went back to asking for more money again. Their responses have been accusatory and very unprofessional with name calling and very immature language. I'm posting my story as a warning to not order from these guys! I also found out that their Twitter and Facebook links on their page don't go anywhere, they're just generic links to Twitter and Facebook with no information related to their webpage.
