Best Deals in Appliances Electronics & AC, LLC Reviews

Very simply put: these people just make things up to charge you for.

And when you question the validity of the claims, they use fake legal terms to try and intimidate you. We had them out to repair a dryer. Simple task. First, they wanted an exhorbatant amount of money to clean it, and when I said I would find someone else, they said the dryer lint cleaners had to be licensed, bonded, and insured by the state of Georgia. That didn't sound right to me, so I hung up and called my attorney who conirmed it was a lie. We had another company come out and clean the dryer lint. When that company arrived, they said it wasn't really dirty. I told them to clean it anyway to make sure. This other company did a great job, and only charged me 1/4 of that "Best Deals" wanted.

Since Best Deals already had the part, we had them come back out to finish the problem It seemed easier than finding someone else and having to re-order the parts to fix the dryer.

When the contractor arrived back at the house, he started to claim that the electrical outlet is broken, and that it was "illegal" for him to work on our dryer until that was fixed. I told him I was not going to take legal advice from him, since he's not an attorney, and the last time he told me something like that, I checked with a real attorney and found out it was a lie.

He didn't like that, and continued to talk to me about replacing the outlet. I asked him if he was a licnesed electrician. He claimed he was. When I asked him for his license information, he refused to give it to me, and instead tried to intimidate me by telling me: "You don't need to see my license. I tell you what. I am going to do you a favor. I am going to call the city and report you." Then he hung up on me!

I immediately called a real electrcian, and sent him a picture of the supposed problem. Turns out, it is only a $10 plastic cover that needs to be replaced. The real electrician (who actually did have a license) also confirmed that there is no such thing as reporting someone over a broken outlet.

As if this was not enough, you cannot get the main office on the phone. Ever. Whenever you call, it just goes to voicemail. And it's not even a company voicemail either. It's the default one you get when you buy a cell phone and never setup the message.

These people should be avoided at all costs. They are unprofessional. They lie. They try to intimidate, and they threaten with "legal" words that I am not even sure they know what they mean. I guess they are used to people just rolling over, handing them more money, and laughing at you all the way to the bank.

AVOID them. Give your hard earned money to someone who values your buisness, and doens't try to squeeze you for everything you're worth.
