Lowes sent this company to my house because I bought my washer and dryer from them. He was in my house for 5 minutes then gave me false information about my dryer. Got loud with me in my home when I asked questions about the information he was giving me. Then tell me I’m not the professional. Told me my dryer was not working due to dust stopping sensors from working. He also did not come prepared to work he only really want to collect the $75 diagnostic fee so if you get the repair done or not he’s made $75 off of 5minute of false information and on to the next client.
He tried to charge me $500 for a dryer repair and made up prices. He became combative going back and forth with me. He walked out of my loft so I said let me make sure your out of my building. He then states I'm calling the police because you don’t want to pay. I wrote him a check to pay the $75 diagnostic fee but felt very uncomfortable giving him a check with my personal information on it because clearly he was a scammer. I told him I did not have a problem paying the diagnostic fee but I did not need his services. I went walked to the ATM machine which was outside my building up the block to get $75 cash. I received a call from his company saying they were Lowes and that I was committing fraud because she had be on a recorded line agreeing to pay the $75. She was yelling loud at me on phone. I explained to her that I never disagreed to pay and she was not here to know what has happen she hung the phone up on me.
When I got back to my loft I called Lowes to tell them what had happened. I explained the situation to them and how dissatisfied I was with them sending this unprofessional company to my home. I explained to them that I did not want to have anything to do with the man or his company and they needed to be the interaction between us so he could get his $75.
The supervisor came on the phone took my compliant apologize and agreed to pay the $75 so I would not have to pay it. They put me on hold called the company and told them they would be paying the fee. While I was on the phone with Lowes I get a call on the other line from the Atlanta police department asking for me to come down to the front of my building. I told them I was on the phone with Lowes and I would be down.
When I get down there they did not ask me my side of the story. They say we hear you’ve agreed to pay the $75 I stated Lowes is paying him I still had Lowes on the phone and but the police refuse to talk with them and ask me to wait to the side. I asked why I need to wait. They stated you need to wait for him to confirm. He was trying to get an additional $75 because Lowes had already contacted him telling him they would pay but he did not tell the police this information. Also while I’m waiting to the side the police tell me to stay calm because he stated you had put your hands on him several times. I said I’m a professional why would I need to put my hands on him. This guys he stated he was the owner and his company are unprofessional unethical fraud liars. Do you know what the outcome could have been from these lies..? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY RUN, RUN, RUN and when your done running RUN AGAIN!
