Since being evicted from Gold Canyon, AZ, I have learned that there is a third party that is known to be with Bernard and his wife Eileen O. Carlos. Her name is Michelle Cox. The three of them have been evicted from several different apartment complexes since Bernard and Eileen have been evicted from Gold Canyon: San Angellin, Meadow Apartments, Windemere, Traditions, and Lindsay Palms Apartments to name a few (public info found via the Judicial Branch of AZ, Maricopa County). The reason for some of the evictions is no-payment, but others are for fraudulent Money Orders. No one seems to want to prosecute this "gentleman", except for the state of AZ.
On 4/19/2010, the State of AZ v Bernard Eric Hilton was filed with Superior Court of AZ (CR2010-119143-001). The case against Bernard is a criminal matter. A fraudulent money order was given to a dealership for purchase of a 2008 Ford F250 Crew Cab.
Bernard didn't show to his pre-trial hearing on 11/22/2010 and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. He was subsequently picked up on 12/2/2010 (you can see his mug shot via phoenix.whosaressted.com). His trial date begins 12/7/2010.
I am hoping this gives some comfort to those who have lost money to this man, whether it was from bad checks or from his credit repair scam. I will also add this...according to the NV Sec of St website, the four companies that he was part of: CENGT, LLC; Silverstate Group Properties, Inc; CeTech, Inc; and Bernstein, Cohen, Kennedy & Associates, Inc have all been revoked. Commeridian, LLC here in AZ is still in good standing.
