These people are scam artists. For years they send notices to my neighbors and me for taxes that were already paid directly to the municipality. It seems that nobody will stop them. They are dirty.
Berkheimer tax collectors in Penn Twp is outrageous! Threatenening , over 6.00 per capita act 679,and act 511 bizarre! Taxes to death in Penn Trafford if you work and are employed at all 18 yr and up! Separate from school taxes, working occupation taxes ! I called Berkheimer they said per Jenna for the luxury and other services of living here! Are they nuts? What other services ? We PAY for garbage, sewage , water , on top of everything else! And they have the nerve to charge for THEIR pre collection letter fee 12.50, and certified maile fee 32.50! And took 75 dollars for the 12.00 they wanted! My advice to anyone over 18! Move out of Penn Twp and / or Don't work ! Be unemployed! This tax collector is rude ,ignorant . Beth Planning to move
I have been contacted repeatedly from this company. They have sent me several " delinquent " tax statements. After sending them several letters proving that I was not in the county that they claimed I was in, therefore proving the claim was unwarranted and false. They continue to send letters from previous years stating I have not paid the local income tax in the counties I've lived in. Their incompetence and continued letters have resulted in a final warning before they Garnish my wages. This is harassment! It's needs to be stopped!
