Beltmann Relocation Group Reviews

  • Jul 11, 2018

Beltmann Relocation group (atlanta) Allied Van Lines - North American Van Lines --- SIRVA INC> Beltmann Relocation Group.

salesman Ian Robbins , comes to house with FAKE CLARK HOWARD endorsement --- promises the moon, lowballs estimates and then BAM! Lookout! $3444 estimate ("binding") turns into over $10,000! ... movers do not wrap, or put back together anything they take apart ... child movers used. which is probably illegal. Lots of cheating, trash packed (including "do not pack signs" in the box), empty boxes piled with paper, etc. then, they refused to deliver!

Instead, EXTORTION! holding in sotrage for extra money. got consumer advocate, chris elliot.org involved who fought on my behalf for delivery according to their contract. They delivered LATE and did not finish delivery but left boxes on lawn and angry driver (now ALLIED, because they like to mix it all up so you can't sue anyone) drove off leaving my things outside.

(SIRVA inc. owns ALL MAJOR MOVERS --- they intentionally mix everything up so customers have no recourse and hid behind their brand because they sanction this cheating behavior) Most furniture broken. Claims denied.

Vandalism of property also. They wrote on things with permanent black magic marker instead of using lot stickers. This was the most horrendous move of all time.... until I checked on line and found that this is their modus operandi. THIS IS SANCTIONED AND WHAT THEY DO TO THEIR CUSTOMERS IS A DISGRACE. DO NOT USE EVER! No Sirva branded company, and certainly not Beltmann Relocation in Atlanta. Shame on you! Ian Robbins.

Check consumer sites. over 1400 complaints on line already! It's a disgrace that they are allowed to keep getting away with this. There are also fake complimentary reviews, obvious by the details, which mirror stories like mine and make Ian Robbins a hero instead. It's a game to Beltmann. One they are skilled at. And you, the customer is set up to be cheated, because you have to pay in advance and you don't know what they will deliver to your home. Life changing mess.

This nightmare began when Ian Robbins of the Beltmann Relocation Group came into our home and assured us that our belongings would be treated with the white glove treatment. We were moving out of state and had to put all of our belongings in Beltmann's storage warehouse in Stone Mountain. The movers knocked a hole in our wall of our Atlanta home and left without identifying it to us. We noticed it the night before closing. Ian ASSURED us our things would be safe and protected in their warehouse. Let me tell you- He couldn't have been further from the truth. Fast forward to moving day 4 months later. I am greeted by the moving men telling me that "half of my stuff isn't on the truck and what they do have, half of it is damaged."

Let me just unfold the nightmare for you. MISSING 2 sofas- one a sleeper sofa. None of the 4 beds mattresses were delivered.

My daughter's antique bed was not only missing the mattress set, but also the rails which connect the head and foot board so it is no longer usuable. My antique mahogany dining room table top that weighs 200 lbs. MISSING. I have the base, but not the top. My king size mattress and seagrass headboard missing. My dining room chair missing. My husband who was a Gulf War Fighter Pilot's clothing GONE. My childrens bedding GONE. 2 8x10 rugs GONE. The list goes on and on. What we did receive was damaged beyond repair. My grandmother's rocking chair destroyed. My deceased father's oil painting he did for me, GONE. Antique pedestal table with a leg ripped off. The claims repair man that NAVL sent out said it was the worst damage he had seen in 35 years. I am devastated. We have no beds to sleep in. Sirva the claims group for NAVL actually told me that they would pay for an air mattress from Walmart and I should "treat this like an adventure." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What kind of adventure is this? This is my LIFE. Things that i have worked YEARS for to purchase. They can NEVER replace my family heirlooms.

Consumers deserve to be warned of companies that operate like this. Ian Robbins and the Beltmann Group do not deserve to be in business. Spare yourself the heartbreak and go with a reliable mover.
