We ordered tires, scheduled an appointment, came in when we were told they arrived, waited over an hour to be told we don & #39;t have your tires. Then, they sales team tried to sell us far more expensive solutions. This is a sales scam. They could have let us know long before we showed up, their intention was to get us there to sell us a different product. Brandon Hesse seemed to think this was the right way to do business.
On 03-17-2018 I took my truck to Belle Tire for an estimate for an alignment and new front tires. The front tires were wearing out, but not the back. Saleperson, Joseph Armbrusher turned the truck over to mechanic, Dean Migdal. The estimate came back as needing idler arms, ball joints- upper and lower, both tie rod sleeve drives, linkage, just about everything...total $1235.32. plus, new tires. so, closer to 1500.00. Decided to get a second opinion.
Went to a local front end shop 48127. It does need 1 ball joint, 4 tie rods and an alignment. 575.00 plus new tires. runs perfect. Did they see an older woman come in and assume I would pay anything?? Stay away from Belle Tire. Consumers are not quite as dumb as Belle Tire assumes.
Consumer two years ago Belle Tire installed 2 front monroe struts on my 2013 elantra coupe. The parts failed along with the mounts I was told the parts are coverd but i have to pay labor again. They go on to say you need front strut mounts as well we did not replace them. I asked how much for all this ? To my surprise he said $500... he said we are going to put quick strut assembly on there a all in one system the (spring,strut,mount exc). What they didnt know I did my due diligence and guess what? There is no quick strut available for the 2dr Elantra. "He Lied" So I called corp of course the guy in customer service and said i know him and i cant see him lying maybe he didnt know! he is a nice guy I can have him call you and fix this.
I get a call from Derek the GM who I have been dealing with and asked him again and he stuck to the monroe quick strut story. I told him it is not available he ask how do you know? and all of a sudden he cant see the part number in his system anymore. Gets better! so he said to me well we can order the parts from the dealer its going to take a few days you have to pay a deposit. its $150 per strut mount, labor and allignment $490 out the door. Outrageous Lol..he is still trying it !!
I purchaced a pair of front strut mounts for $144 out the door at my dealership Suburban Hyundai. I called Derek to tell him i got the parts I was so happy only for him to say we dont install customer parts. What??? He went on to say his guys get their bread and butter. So I asked your a commission based company by upcharging and ripping off your customers? He replied when ever your ready to come in and said have a nice day. Consumers did you know their shop mechanics receive commission and salary i didnt? Belle tire gets a rip off report thumbs down in my book i will never go there again..
Brought truck in for 4 tires and an alignment. Priced at 500 dollars. Takes them over an hour to bring the truck into the shop. Right after the tech does that he takes a lunch break while the customer is waiting. For 2 hours he then beats on the truck repeatedly. The tech then comes in side and whispers to the a****** assistant manager Jason Kruger " I f***** their Lug nuts up. Tell them they need all new lug nuts". The ignorant tech didn't realize some people have supersonic hearing. The assistant manager calls us to the counter and says we need all new lug nuts they are 15 dollars a pack and you need 5 packs. I exclaim I just had all four tires off 3 days ago and the lug nuts were perfectly fine. Jason Kruger then proceeds to be a complete a*s. I asked his name and he said don't worry about it. I said really? Must have something to hide. He then tells me his card is on his desk.
After that he proceeds to tell me he isn't a mechanic just a sales f***. But stood there and tried to throw me, the mechanic, under the bus as if I don't know what I'm talking about. That's right a sales f*** knows more about the repair of vehicles than a ase certified mechanic of over 20 years. Right. He proceeds to call me a dumb a** and to go f*** myself.
A new customer walks into the store and I explain how he should go somewhere else because they will destroy his vehicle blame him for the destruction and then charge him to fix it. That customer took my advice and left. Ever notice that in most belle tire places they post only 2 ase certifications? Yet they have over ten techies working on vehicles....wonder why that is. Turns out that assistant manager was already in the spot light for his rude behavior and horrible customer service, according to corporate. In the end....they claim the vehicle needs one wheel bearing and one ball joint both on opposite sides. Now any true ase certified mechanic would know that you always replace steering and suspension components in pairs. Clearly these guys don't understand why that's the proper way to fix a vehicle. And what do you know they were able to reuse every single luck it they claimed was destroyed. SCAM! Do not give these jack a**** your business. They are trained to rip people off because the average consumer isn't mechanically incline and generally knows nothing about cars or vehicle repairs. Today, I proved them otherwise. I will not rest until had in Kruger is fired for insubordination. Another thing to add. The outside trash can is over flowing with trash. Apparently none of those employees know how to simply empty a trash can into the dumpster. Unreal.
