On yahoo an ad for bella skin cream trial for $4.99 came up. It stated that you could have a non commital sample. They also said they were a product from TV's Shark Tank. Because of the Shark Tank connection I tried it.
Then they charged my bank account two charges the following month one on 1/11/17 for $85.94 and one on the 12th for $89.97. When I called to complain and said I didn't like the product and didn't want to order anymore they told me that they didn't send me anymore and the charges were for the ones they sent as a trial and since I didn't call to cancel I was being charged. They also said they would refund me only 35% of the charge after I complained and that I should have read the restrictions better.
The product also didn't arrive with any instructions. I offered to return the unused product but they refused. None of the advertising indicated this in the yahoo ad which didn't take me to their site or say that you needed to cancel in 2 weeks. It did say you could cancel or order more products. They also said the Better Business Bureau knew of their restrictions. I said that means their have been a lot of complaints...which she responded by putting me on hold.
This company is a ripoff. The product isn't good, the restrictions are in conflict with the written ad and after this happened I went to the site to confirm that the complaint was about this company and they don't even mention Shark Tank on it which was the only reason I ordered. Their scam is to get the extra money so my "trial" went from $10.00 for 2 products to close to $200.00! Unacceptable and complete false advertising.
