I had a friend Doe and wanted to contact old friends whom I had lost contact with. been verified had a automatic rebilling hidden in their contract, My bad. On October 30 they took 22.86 off if my card, and when I received the bill I called them wanting the service (for November) stopped and no further billing. today I received my new bill and again they charged me another 22.86. So I called my Creditcard company and disputed the charge, they called been verified and they said yes I did call in in October 30 the to dispute the charge, and the credit card company called and the gave me the charge for December service back but did not give me the charge I originally called in to been verified to cancel!

When you complain, they lie and state they have never offered the lower rate, even though I sent them proof of the bait and switch email.

BEENVERIFIED is certainly a scam company running multiple online scams with oversears operators.

Someone should put a stop to their bate and switch tactics which have to be illegal.

You cannot promise a flat rate price of $48.00/year then take the credit card and charge $23/month.

Someone should put a stop to these con artists/

Conclusión: es una estafa, una engañifa, un timo, un fraude y más elogios por el estilo. Hasta ando preocupado por haberle proporcionado la info de mi tarjeta de crédito. is a scam, a cheat, a scam, a fraud and more compliments like that. Needing to know the judicial and criminal background of someone who does not inspire confidence in me to do a business, I came across beenverified as the first option on the internet. His site exhibited a thousand self-compliments and I confidently paid the one-month fee (almost $ 23) because I only needed that service for once. I gave beenverified access to my credit card and in return I got information that goes on even the most neglected, uninformed, outdated Facebook. To know what I want (the judicial and criminal data of the person I investigate) beenverified intends to obtain a premium account for an additional $ 18.46, which I am not willing to give them. I wanted to give beenverified the benefit of the doubt and asked for the information of my close relatives, whose life I know from pe to pa, and beenverified gave me a string of absolutely erroneous data. Conclusion: is a scam, a cheat, a scam, a fraud and more compliments like that. Until I'm worried about having given him the info of my credit card.

Do not sign up with these charlatans. I was curious several months ago and decided to sign up for a trial subscription. I started researching my families and friends names and I also researched my own name. Well, these charlatans (which is very nice, compared to what I'd really like to call them) had nothing but false, misleading and inaccurate information on their database regarding every person that I looked up, including myself. They must have combined me with at least 100 other persons, with the same name, along with their addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, criminal backgrounds and even a photo that wasn't mine.

My son (who died overseas in the Marines) and my daughters (a college student) names were also in this database and the information was completely inaccurate. My young daughter's photo was plastered on the page. Needless to say, I was outraged. Well, after making repeated attempts to delete our information, with no success, I reached out to their customer service team to have the information deleted and this has never been done. I've sent them emails and I've spoken to their customer service team by phone and I was assured that all of our information would be removed.

I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB, along with the State Attorney Generals Office about this site, because they are refusing to remove my families information from their database.

I recently saw an add on tv and again online (same day - 4,5 times). They were advertising services that equate to a personal background check on an individual. The advertisement wasn't only geared toward potential employers, but this company's services are also suggested as a precautionary tool when making new friends, dating from a dating website or online application, hiring a contractor of any nature for services (babysitter, music lessons, handyman, etc.). I was curious about what this company might offer anyone who decided to search for my background information. I was very disappointed to see that not only did they have a report which advertised some correct information in addition to some non current information, but that they also advertised that they would sell me a report that had more information available. They even stated specifically what the information contained, i.e. Bankruptcys, criminal records, etc. with a number along side each category which indicated how many occurrences of each they would be able to provide in detail. I understand that certain information is a matter of public record. I also know that there is information that is available to the public on the internet, but certainly not to the degree their bait and switch operations lays out in front of ANY user who performs a free search on my name. I believe that I have damages based on the work of this internet company, and I'm am very willing to cooperate with anyone who is willing to help me get justice for not only myself, but the thousands or millions of others who are also victims in my same situation. Thank you Ryan Drakes

What a scam. They take your credit card and then keep charging you. Avoid at all costs!

This is a company where you can do background checks on people. I had a problem accessing some of the folders I have on their site. I called their customer service twice and got no where. I wrote an email to their so-called customer service and my account was terminated. They care more about the employees that work there than they do their cutomers. If you are looking for a background checking service I recommend going with their competitors. Avoid Been Verified whatever you do.

False information on their site that they say can't be edited . my name is mixed-up with another's and across multiple times with other can not trust sites like this and should not use them! They should not be able to display info that cannot be corrected be real people who know it is wrong! Bs speads fast enough in the world and fixing things like this shouldn't be this difficult!

  • Sep 14, 2015 is a RIPOFF - if you elect to use their "7-day free trial" be aware that they will immediately charge your credit card for the most expensive level of service they offer. DO NOT use them to do a one-time search for someone, and CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT IMMEDIATELY after using them to refute any charges they post to your account.
