Bedpage.com is a scam website. They steal their customers money on a regular basis. That’s why they accept payments only in Bitcoin now (and then say “No refunds” after they take your money and provide no service. This site is run by Indians and hosted abroad. They stole hundreds of dollars from thousands of customers. And they keep changing their rules to steal more money from you. They shut down your account for no reason and they do not refund you the money which you had there. They just steal your money. And it’s impossible to talk to them, they do not return e-mails.

Now for new accounts they request upfront deposit $100 (in Bitcoin only) just to “activate” your account to advertise with them. You jump through a lot of hoops, follow their instructions, send them $100 in Bitcoin or a little more, send them a receipt for $102 paid in Bitcoin… only to find out that they credited your account for only $99.97. And they refuse to “activate” your account (because they say it’s less than $100), so you are not allowed to use your money to pay for advertisement. They say now you have to deposit $25 more (because their system does not accept anything less than $25) to “activate” your account. When asked for a refund, they say “no refunds”.

If you jump through a lot of hoops and finally manage to deposit more than $100 in Bitcoin into your account, you can post an ad with them (which costs $5 to post). After a short time, they will block your account for no reason and say that now you have to “verify” your account, because all accounts need to be “verified”.To “verify” your account, they ask you to send them a video of yourself where you have to say your name, your address, your phone number, your e-mail address (they want to collect all personal and biometric information on you, including your face and a sample of your voice). If you don’t comply with their demands, they will keep your money. They do not ask you to send them your video BEFORE they take your money. Remember, they are scammers from India. They copied the old backpage.com website which was shut down by the government.

In the past, they used to accept gift cards from Walmart as payment (not any longer) but the same stealing was going on if you deposited money via those gift cards.

Bedpage are scammers and steal their customers money on a regular basis

I used to advertise with Bedpage.com. They ask for a deposit and they steal your deposit. That happened to me many times. Recently they made everybody pay with only Bitcoin for their ads (easier to steal) and then they deleted many people's ads and blocked access to their accounts, while keeping the customers money for themselves. When contacted, they said "your account is deactivated because of suspicious activity" (not only my account but many people's accounts) and requested "please make a selfie video of yourself in which you have to say your Name, Registered Mail Id and make sure your face is clearly visible and send us to on [email protected]". After I requested they refund my money , they ignored me. These Indian scammers are a nightmare........

is a website made by some India guys.

This is a website made by some India guys. Fully scam and cheating your gift card. Once your received your gift cards, they will tell your gift cards are bad. So they didn't deposit into your account. They use SEO to increase the traffic flow, and actually half audiences and clicks are from India.

I use to advertise different items with Backpage so was happy to see a new one come along, however this one is not right.

First they were asking for THOUSANDS TO advertise a small ad on their website when infact hardly anyone knows about it and there are hardly any ad in any of the areas on the site within the United States.

Then they sent an email offering Free advertising because they are so great?

When you go in there to do a free ad, the form page does not work (does not submit). When you write to them on their "CHAT" page to tell them you are having problems, they give you a load of BS and then they say ok, in order to help and verify they need (this is a copy from their chat form).

Alright, please send us a copy of your

driving license ,

passport ,

social security number

at [email protected] .

We will verify your documents and will provide you the access to your account.

What kind of real advertiser requires all that information. Sounds very fishy to me. Did not go through with that ... sounds like a total rip off!

I knew it was a scam

I tried posting today, and they did hit me with the $25 gift card bs. Of course I didn't felt for it.

The mother fuckers erased every single ad from the Escort section in my area. Before that all of us (the girls) posted ads for free, now they are simply gone. And they want us to pay with bitcoin or gift cards. Not only that, I did play stupid for a while, and told the guy at their live chat that I couldn't use any of those two options to pay...HE SEND ME A BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER FROM AN INDIAN BANK UNDER THE NAME OF "BEDPAGE".

So yea people, be more than sure that it is a scam.

And let me give you all the common denominator that no one has mention...DID YOU STARTED GETTING TEXT AND CALLS FROM +9 NUMBERS, and that's when the problems started with your ad on their page??

Guess what Country uses +9? Exactly, now you know.

Bedpage are scammers

Bedpage’s scammed me out of almost 3,000 dollars and once taken to the live chat and I began staring FACTS, they disabled their live chat.. as it has been disabled for 3 days now... don’t even want to respond in email now because I am on their tails. Like don’t delete my stuff without TELLING ME SOMETHING IS WRONG, my EMAIL IS ON DECK, so email me if there is ever an issue (they didn’t) and I make enough money so I NEVER have to use a fake/already used gift card. Their excuses are bogus and idc it could be 20$ don’t play with me. So I would love my little 3k back just to invest in an nonscamming site. I KEEP EVERYTHING!

They scammed me out of 3,000 dollars. I had 55 pages of ads there were anonymously deleted. When questioned about why my ads were deleted In the live chat) they tried to say i was using bad gift cards. That is a total lie when the store i buy my gift cards from is 2min walking distance from where i reside. After stating facts they no longer had the 24/7 live chat available. I have been checking in daily As i have another account which is old) and they’ve disabled the chat, holistically, in order to come up with a bogus lie as to why they’ve deleted my 55pages of 9 ads per page ranging 5-7.50) posts, just vanishing, into thing air. I’m so upset.

Well I'm usually very careful about online dealings but I let one slip this time. I was looking for an online platform that was similar to Backpage now that it is shut down. Im a massage therapist student who used Backpage in the past. I didn't do the usual check and I rushed to try out this new website. Well they only let you post only at a $25 dollar minimum. And of course they only accept payments such as gift card and Bitcoin which you risk loosing your money and you can not recoup. Long story short. I decided to pay via a Walmart gift card and they immediately took the money off the gift card. It's now 5 days later and I still did not receive my posting credits also the contact page is fake as I have sent numerous emails and they all have came back as this email address is not found. $25 dollars is not a lot but im just trying to save others from the same mistake because if you look at the site first glance you would think the site is legit. However after the fact I found a couple of other complaints on other sites about also getting ripped off by bedpage

Before you can use the sict you have to set up an acount and pay a min of 20.00 dolalrs. But the 20.00 dollar button does not work so when you clickit they ding your bank account for 50.00. For the first four days the website was down for maintance then after I complained they reomoved all of my credits and closed my account for having nude pictures. The rules to start with said nothing about Not having nude pictures. It a dating site and they posted to be much like craigslist. But so far all they are doing is taking peoples money and not posting any ads. I am not the only one that has been scammed. This shoud me arristed for fraud. When you look for ads or your own they aren't there. It is a bogus website.
