Beauty Impressions LLC Reviews

  • Feb 7, 2017

This is one of at least 2 "beauty product" companies at the same address. Both are scammers, and they sell products that are unproven and do not do as they advertise.

I bought two samples from Beauty Impressions on Aug. 30, returned them by the appropriate date, and after 14 phone calls, I still do not have my money back (today is Feb. 4). They now have my money AND the unused portion of the products. They have many excuses, and you can never talk to a supervisor, although they promise a return call from one within 24 hours.

They told me there would be a $20 restocking fee for each item; however, how can they "restock" an opened product? This is a further scam.

They all speak with heavy accents, yet they have very anglo names (for example: Fisher, Hopper, Gray, Sterling). They are based out of the U.S., so they do not belong to the BBB. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and they will investigate if they get enough complaints.

Do NOT be dooped by these people! You can buy better--and legitimate--products from your drug store!

After trying a free trial offer of there product for $4.99 shipping charges I was sent another package and $ 200 was unknowingly charged to my CC. They would not take back product and i was stuck with charges. They are thievs.

I agree with other posters on this product.

I just got off the phone with customers service (someone in India reading a script ... surprise, surprise).

This was after two email exchanges.

You sign up for the free trial and pay only shipping and handling. I got the product and used it with no results whatsoever.

I looked around for the mice type to see what the catch was. I got the product and used it with no results whatsoever.

I didn't see any, I guess (based on previous poster) it's hidden on the payment page. My point being, they seem to be trying to hide it to rip people off.

I got the product and used it with no results whatsoever.

I began to worry I had, without my knowledge, signed up for autorenewal so I emailed. They cancelled the autorenewal and I would now be charged the full amount. $200 dollars ... and these are small amounts ...and did I mention they don't work.

Then I asked could I return the unused portion.

I was told you have to tell them within 15 days you want to return it, though on their site on first page it says you can return for full refund within 30 days minus S&H (I NEVER saw any of this info). I also had the misfortune of emailing them my concerns on day 30.

PLUS, how do you know if 15 days that this is going to work or not?

They told me it was under terms and conditions (the small type at the bottom of the page). When I clicked on it, I got an error message that page didn't exist. Service rep told me when he clicked it was there.

Needless to say I was annoyed and frustrated, and quite happy my call was taped (or so they said). I think they are deceptive and have an overpriced product that doesn't perform as claimed.

If you call and are as dissatisfied as I was, you will get a 40% refund.

I hope this will warn other people so they aren't ripped off. I'd love to hear from someone who was actually happy with the price and performance of these products.

I clicked on a free sample offer and entered my credit card number for the shipping charges. They sent me a small jar of cream. I later saw a charge for over $90 on mt credit card statement. A month later I received another jar in the mail and another $90+ charge on my credit card. I went to the website and canceled my subscription.

I continued to receive the cream and the charge. I now simply write "return to sender, did not order" on the package and put it in the mailbox. I don't know how they get off charging over 90 dollars for some cream that I could get at Walgreens for $24.99 for Olay brand!

I am going to ask my credit card company to refund any payments already made, and reject any future charges.

Saw an advertisement for a free sample of skin cream. just pay S & H. Ordered and paid $5.95 for skin cream ans $3.95 for eye stuff. Nothing but a Welcome card was enclosed with the product.

Checked my card statement and was shocked to find $105 79 ns $97.83 charges for these two products. Called Beauty Impressions.net customer service to inquire about these outrageous charges. 1-855-260-1660.

I was informed that I had enrolled in a monthly program and since I had not called within 14 days that I had consented to pay the real cost of the product. So, was not free after all. I would be charged the monthly price until I called to cancel. Told the CSR that I wanted the entire $203.62 back and was entirely unaware of this. He said it was plainly stated that this was the what would happen. Did not see this anywhere, add said free.

CSR said I could return the products for the credit, but would be a $20.00 restocking charge ( total of $40.00) and I would pay shipping.

Then was told they would give me 40 % back. I said I wanted the entire amount back. Then was told they would give me 70 % back within 7-10 working days. Did calculations and decided to agree to 70 % back, because of the postage to send back.

My conclusion: Nothing is free. There is always a catch. This company counts on you to not call to cancel within their time frame, whatever that maybe, which was not clear. If this was a decent, honest company. a reminder would have been included with the product. But, nothing pertaining to this "little" fact was in there.

Crappy company with crappy business practices. I felt so stupid and gullible, but wiser now. Rest assured that I will be checking for that credit to appear in 7-10 working days.

I fell for one of those free sample products, just pay for shipping scams and a week later, on December the 26th at 8 oclock in the morning I checked my bank account and found two separate charges from Beauty Impressions, One was $105.79 and the other one for $97.83. I almost fainted. I only have my SS check once a month to live on and I cannot pay my bills with $203.62 taken out of my account. I called my bank to file a fraud compaint with the bank. They suggested I talk to someone at Beauty Impressions to see if they would replace the money.

I called them today and was told they would take off 40% if I returned the samples and they would charge me $20 for each item. Another $40 for sending back in the same box. I got very irate with the customer service person and told him my bank would reverse the charges if they did not return all my money. He then offered 70% off. I said no way. I wanted all my money refunded by the end of the day or I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. I finally had to hang up on him and he called me back and told me they would only charge me $10 for each item for sending them back. I said no way again. and hung up again. I called my bank back and told them what happened and they are sending me a new card and canceling my old card, in case they try to charge me again. A little inconvenient but worth it.

Beauty Impressions was ordered December 9th 2016. I only wanted to one of them but they sent me too. It was not shipped until December 12th 2016. Beauty Impressions withdrew $97.38 from my account on December 23rd 2016. I called for a refund of the $97.38 they took out of my bank account. They informed me that it only had 10 days from date of ordering which was December 9th 2016. I want to remind you they didn't ship product out until December 12th but they charge you the days from the 9th. They agreed to refund 40% of the $97.38 they would withdrew from account, at that time the customer service agent advised me that I would get the 40% refund in 45 days maybe 7 due to the holidays. They instructed me to send the EyeVibe back to them. The customer service agent mentioned nothing about a $20 restocking fee. A few minutes later I got an email advising me of the $20 restocking fee, and that I would get my 40% refund 14 days after they received the EyeVibe. The customer service also advised we have had 30 days to return the EyeVibe. I asked to speak to a supervisor several times but of course there was none available. I was told they would call me back in the next couple of days. As of today I have not gotten any call back.

Pain in the BUTT

TOTAL RIPOFF and took FOREVER to get call thru and completed.

  • Dec 23, 2016

Before i even had a chance to try their product, i was billed $203.62 on my credit card! months later...I'm out the money and the product Because i returned the unwanted/not ordered product)! save yourself the time and aggravation and have nothing to do with this company!!!

  • Dec 19, 2016

I did a CVS online survery and after completing surery was adivsed i would receive product for free only needed to pay for shipping. Of course it was to good to be true. I received the product went online to research it and when I saw the cost of the product ( over $200) i thought this was not right why would they send me $200 worth of product for free. Since I have been a custoner of CVS for over 7 years I was not expecting what happened next. I called the company that sent me the produc to validate the fact that is was free and to my astonishment they said I would have to pay $200 in 30 days. I stated there was no way I was going to pay $200 for a product I have never heard of or tested. They gave me an RA number and I immediately reutnerned the product. Here we are 30 days later and my account as charged for the product because they conveniently did not recieve the product I sent back. Since after 30 days I do not have the tracking number they can not credit my account. If I have to spend thousands of dollars tracking down who ripped me of so be it. I am not letting this one go.

As for CVS if you are giving your customers information out to 3rd party vendors and resultingi in your customers getting ripped off shame on you and I have already canceled my acount and wil now only shop at Walgreens!!

  • Dec 18, 2016

On 12/6/16, i saw an advert on facebook for a product that offered a sample for just 4.95 shipping and handling. I completed the form and requested my sample. Several times in the order process it offered additional product and i turned it down. Someone called to to confirm my order and advised me the charge for the sample was 4.95. I received the product but haven't had an opportunity to try it, when on 12/18/16 i was charged $97.83 by "harbor beauty boutique" again out of nj. I called to complain about the additional charges and they informed me that my sample wasn't a sample but a trial. The tried to claim that having kept my sample after x number of days, i got charge the full fee of 97.83. I informed them that they were going to refund me the entire price or they would get sued for fraudulent practices. As an llc they likely feel they can get away with it and reopen elsewhere. Social media is not so easy to get away with this on once it spreads.

  • Dec 9, 2016

In October, 2016 I purchased a sample of "Skin Element", and paid $3.95 plus shipping and handling. The product came with no return address, and after I used it, I was very unsatisfied. The cream was too heavy and I did not like the smell at all. But there was no one to contact for a return until I received my Bank of America bill.

They had the nerve to charge me $97.83 after only sending this one ounce product which I did not like at all. I called the 855-853-1523 number to speak with someone who could barely speak English and telling me about how I signed up for this on the internet...which I did not. I contacted Bank of America and we established a three way conversation in which they refunded $97.83 for November....one month in advance billing, but only wanted to refund $48.92 which represented half of the October bill. I refused to accept this amount and put it in dispute. I wanted the entire charge taken off my bill. How dare these people charge me money for a product that I don't want.

The $48.91 was still outstanding on my bill, and today I tried to call them, was put on hold for ten minutes, as I continued to read the bad reviews and how they have ripped off other people. Thank God for my representative at Bank of America, who gave me a courtesy credit for the $48.91 on my bill. I have excellent credit for the past twenty years and I'll be darned if these rip off companies will hurt my credit or get a dime from me.

I have learned a real good lesson. Do not ever trust any company with their free or inexpensive samples. Their only motive is to get your credit card number and make a fool at out of you. They are into ripping you off. Beware.

  • Dec 3, 2016

On facebook they had an ad for sample of beauty impression cream for shipping charge only [5.95) and $1.95 for the eye vibe cream. I just got charged $97.30 for one and $105.02 for the other. The number is out in india and won't help. I called my bank cancel that card and they will try to get the money back.

  • Nov 18, 2016

Ordered what I thought was a free sample of a 1oz. face cream and a .5oz. eye cream. The ad was extremely misleading, stating first come first serve with a counter on the web page showing their available supposedly "free" stock disappearing one-by-one real time. Just 14 days later, they charged my credit card for almost 98.00!!! Turns out nothing was free, not even shipping, and the usual monthly membership scam was their excuse for charging card. Impossible to get a refund. I feel scammed.

  • Oct 19, 2016

I accepted a free sample of an eye product and face cream, with the only charge being $3.95 and $5.95

I was also charged $.99 for each product as well. Then 2 weeks later i was charged $105.79 and 97.83

For these products without my approval. I called the company and was told i could no longer obtain a refund because it had been longer than 14 days. I asked to talk with someone i could understand and that i would

Require a full refund. They are really awful to work with, i sent my products back to them and i am now

Waiting to see if i get my money back. This is a total scam and they need to be shut down!

  • Oct 19, 2016

I ordered a trial and within the month i was charged 200.00.

I called and they said i subscribed to this, no i did not. There advertising is completely fraudulent and i will call my credit card company to disputes this. I wish i would have looked at reviews before i ordered the sample.. Buyer beeare

Beauty Cream Rip Off

I was excited at first to later realize it was a total scam. After realizing that I was being charged hundreds of dollars without my consent , I called the company. They take people to be fools. The man was trying to negotiate with me offering to refund me 50 percent of the cost. After I rejected his offer he proceeded to say 60 percent, 70 percent..... I told him I will only accept 100 percent to be refunded. I was then told to keep the product and that I would be refunded the full amount. I then called my credit card company. They blocked the company from ever charging me again and deducted over $400 from my statement. I will never get fooled again!!

Scam!

Every previous poster is correct--This company scammed me as well. If you purchase with a credit card, DO NOT accept a partial refund from this company. Contact your credit card company and they will refund the entire amount fraudulently charged to your card. Also be sure to request that your credit card company prevent these thieves from making future charges to your card.

Oct. 11, 2016 at 6:15 CDT I call Basic Imprerssions at 1-855-724-8837. Michael answered I informed that I have received two packages from his company that I did not order asnd I did not want to be charged for them. I informed him I was going to return them unopened to his Company. He said he could not help me because his systems were being upgraded and I would receive a call back at the number I was calling from. Since I did not order these products I can nor cancel them from my credit card or I would. At this time I am not sure how much they are charging since I have not opened either package.

Beauty Impressions markets Eye vibe serum and Skin element cream. The products themselves hit your account four times. Separate charges for each product's promotional price and then two separate charges for shipping each product - even thought they came in the same box.

The products themselves are not all that amazing. They do not do as promised and actually feel a little heavy. The issue is that they give you a 30-day trial that must be canceled in 14 days. It's a little misleading. When the product arrives, there is on the package inserts that give instructions for returning or calling to cancel the "subscription" that you unwittingly signed up for.

$200 per month skin and eye cream.

I called the number listed on the charge details in my bank statement. I spoke to polite people. The first representative did not give me correct shipping information to return it. She offered me a refund of 70% of the 97.83 that was charged to my account on day 14 of the trial. I called a few minutes later to ask if I could be refunded the whole amount. The representative who I spoke to offered a refund of $20 less than the purchase price - $20 restocking fee. I asked why they would re-stock a used product. He then said it's a processing fee. The third time I called, I was given a correct address and told that I would not be refunded 77.83, but that they would refund 68.48 once I return the eye serum. I was given RMA numbers to return the product and instructed to keep my tracking number for reference. I won't be getting the 70% refund until they get the eye serum, which was an add-on to the skin element - fine... the refund will take 7-10 business days AFTER they receive it.

So frustrating. 14 days to review a 30-day product. No warning of the "subscription" kicking in so that you have a chance to cancel before they charge your account.

Nice enough people on the phone, I'm just unhappy with the shady practice of billing my account automatically and charging individual shipping for two items that shipped together. It's not all that great either. Lesson learned - don't order stuff from online or tv advertising.

  • Oct 6, 2016

I ordered a face cream: Skin Element+ S'NAK Peptide, sample online for the cost, it said, only for shipping. Ha. I was billed for monthly sendings of the "sample" for 97.83. An eye cream also advertised with this which I inadvertantly hit on the computer and immediately sent a request to cancel , stating my mistake, was not canceled and I was billed 105.79!!! When I called customer service, speaking to someone I could almost understand, I was told the company did no samples but that I had enrolled in the service...I offered to send the second package of cream back and demanded a refund. I had to voice that the credit card company could follow up. I did get one month about $200 supposidly refunded but only half of the first billing as it had been more than 30 days. Don't know when I got so dumb as to order anything like this-stay away-- rip off city! Yet they advertise and send billings about "word of mouth is important so please spread the love.."

  • Oct 3, 2016

Ordered "free" samples and a charge for $105.79 showed up on credit card statement. I had been enrolled in a subscription i did not want or approve.

  • Oct 1, 2016

I responded to a free sample with the cost of shipping. Received what I thought was the sample. The following month receive another product with a credit card charge of $97.83. Called customer service and was informed I agreed to the terms. I only agreed to shipping an handle.

I ordered a beauty product for a trial offer, got the product but within 2 weeks got charged $97 dollars. I am elderly and definitely cannot afford these charges that are bogus.

  • Sep 13, 2016

BEWARE! SCAM!!!!

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. I DID NOT SUBSCRIBE, I DID NOT AGREE TO AMOUNT. I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE COMPANY. UNBELIEVABLE!

  • Sep 12, 2016

I ordered free samples of skin cream and eye cream but had to pay shipping and handling of $10.94. I received the two samples and checked my account to see what had been charged.

The company made two withdrawals from my checking account of $87.47 and $89.31 without my authorization!! I am on fixed income and cannot afford to have money stolen from my account!

That business should be shut down to stop the thievery!

  • Sep 10, 2016

Ditto all other replies!

No stars - all of the above is true except for the one from June 13th who is probably an employee of this scam company!! I am just starting the process of disputing the charges and am not looking forward to it! I will cancel the card and start over if I have to!

  • Sep 10, 2016

Don't Order From Them!!!

Same thing as the other reviews....I saw Christie Brinkley and was sold on it. "Free trial" and only pay S&H of $3.95. Debit card was originally charged that plus $0.99. That was no problem. Twelve (12) days later I was charged $97.83. I called the number on the box of the free trial; they just gave me the run around. I ended up paying full price for a "Free Trial" but I had better not get anymore charges or products from them! Stay away!!!7WEZ

  • Sep 2, 2016

We ordered the trailSkin Element. The company offers 14 days trail. The Credit card was charged before the trail period expired. No shipment was sent. The company says the 92+ charges were for the cream which was sent for trail. The card is chaged again for the second time after couple of weeks. Please Beawre Dont BUY anything from this company.

  • Sep 1, 2016

I requested a sample of the products advertised by Beauty Impressions and was charged shipping and handleing. What I was not told was they were going to start charging my Credt Card and sending me these products without my permisson. I sent them back as "Return to Sender" but then got something else from them within a week. I called and was told My money would be refunded for the month of August for the products. I am not sure how much has been charged to my credit card but I do know it put me over my limit. I was told when I called them to keep the products I had been sent but I told them they were already sent back and I was filing a complaint about their business practices. When I called I talked to Steven Paul and obtained a REf # of 9484684. They need to be put out of business.

  • Aug 23, 2016

Saga Continues

Thank you for the above reviews. For the first time, I fell victim to a scam. I had recently ordered this free trial which I received 5 days ago. For some strange reason I decided to look up the company today. When I read these reviews I called my credit card company to cancel any further charges. I then called Beauty Impressions and was told to follow the above recorded procedures. I immediately returned the products and now I will have to wait to see if I have successfully avoided any further shipments or charges. What a disappointing experience this has been.

CON ARTISTS

I can't believe that every complaint sounds just like mine!! I'm even more Stupid that some of you...so don't Feel Bad!! I received both of the Beauty Impressions in one box. I thought I was only getting eye cream , but they also sent face cream. Then the $92.79. Called & gave me 30 more days to return cream then got charged $97.83 for cream. They said yes I did cancell, but didn't return cream. I should have cancelled my card & got a new one, before the $97.83 charge...that's where I was Stupid!! I Wish I had gone to google when I first ordered this to have seen these reviews First!! I probably would have cancelled my card, before they could use it again. And Yes I have the Original Box & Paper Work. Which says nothing about more shipments OR any $$$$ amount!! So now this is $200.00 later. From the sound of everyone I should cancell my debit card...it' s a shame I have other automatic withdrawals on this & have to contact them!! This is why people like me with no credit cards should buy a prepaid Visa in the store for $20 or so & $4.95 to activate. That way those Free Trials plus shipping & handling won't cost $$$$ so much!! I'm going to try & call the News Channel 8 on your side & see what they say. Maybe Everyone Else in their individual state could do the same thing!! Get them on the run or someone to STOP them!! It is an Election Year! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO GOT SCAMMED!! SOMEONE GET THESE JERKS...CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT??? CAN WE DO IT??

Contacted this company after I made an order. Told them wanted to send it back. Was to expensive for my pocket book. She told my to try it a few more weeks than call in. Called in before the deadline to ask for a RMA number. Sent the product back again before deadline. Kept the receipt. Tried to call them several times. At no advail. Went to my bank for fraudulent changes on my acct. When I told them sending the product back and don't want it so cancel the order. They told me if I send it back no charges will be made. What do they do hit my acct. For the lower price she gave me. $48.91.. I am done no more buying on the internet.

Deceitful Company!!

Whether or not these 2 products 'work', the online ad is a pure SCAM! They do charge your credit card over $90. EACH after just a couple of weeks. AND they have you signed up for the 'program' of being charged those amounts MONTHLY for more of these products. When you call to straighten the mess out, they put you through HELL! I told them I will complain to the FCC about their false advertising, was put on hold twice, and finally was told I will get a full refund of the two $90+ charges after I send the products back at my own expense.

GRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrr!!!

EXTREME RIP OFF Addendum

This is an addendum to my earlier review. Fortunately, my bank (CU) checks with me about anything odd that is debited with my debit card. They contacted me today to check if i had authorized these charges and I immediately stated no and gave him a synopsis of what occurred with my phone call today. He gave me the number to contact the card member services to have this charge placed as disputed and they will work to get it dismissed. I have yet to use the product and will be shipping it back forthwith.

I AM STILL IN FAVOR OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

  • Jun 13, 2016

I like the product

They may be a rip off on the terms, but the product works. One of my smile lines has disappeared, as has one of the frown lines between my eyes. I have tried other products but this is the first one that actually works.
