The owner Mansour Shojaie would only accept cash to release my car that Manny's Towing illegally towed. All VSF's are required to accept credit and debit cards as payment and have a working payment processing machine at all times, no exceptions. When I called this Con-Man up he told me about 4 or 5 names instead of using his real name that his vsf liscence is registered under.
Mansour Shojaie pimps out Manuel Perez TDLR#006507671C to go take legally parked cars off city streets in the middle of the night. Then these 2 guttermouths don't notify the city in the time frame the city requires so you are now told by the police your car is stolen. It's up to you to figure out where it went since Manny is busy servicing men at his Manny's Towing office.
If you research your VSF reciept it will lie claiming your car was on private property which it was not. Also it leaves off required information or only has partial information that you need to file complaints against them. This is to make it hard for their victims. Over the phone and in person Mansour told us his name was Mike or Peter.
My trick was illegally towed by Manny's Towing to this swindlers Vehicle Storage Facilty called"Bear Creek Auto Storage #2" . Their TDLR#0607502VSF is for the business and what you need to file formal online complaints with the TDLR which licenses them through the state of Texas.
When I called the police looking for my truck on Monday Morning they looked in their database and didn't see it as being reported towed. It was stolen I was told. A neighbor gave me this clowns phone number and when I called he told me his name was Ali. My boss also called and was told his name was Mike then Edward when he called again. We were also told that cash was the only form of payment that could be accepted.
This was a lie since the county requires all VSF's to accept credit and debit cards. Also the county requires them to report the vehicle as towed within 2 hours, not days later. Then Mansour Salami Shojaie refused to show us his TDLR card and identity with his correct name which at first he told us a different name, briefly held his card up at a distance we couldn't read it, then closed his payment window and covered it with a peice of cardboard.

On top of that the reciept lied and claimed it was a "Private Property" tow when in fact it was legally parked on a public street. Even the police could not legally authorize the tow.

ALSO he claimed he could ONLY accept CASH, which is illegal and against Harris County VSF policy. A Vehicle Storage Fascility is required to accept your debit/credit card, money order or cash and have a working payment machine at all times. Also they are required to secure your vehicle, which they did not. Most of all anyone with a TDLR card in the towing/vsf field is required by law to show you their tdlr card as well as legal name in order for you to file a formal complaint.

He held his card up out of eyesight so I couldn't read it then put some cardboard over his cubbyhole payment window and literally hid inside. After researching public records it appears maybe the reason is that his TDLR card is expired or not current which means he shouldn't of been working a state regulated position at Bear Creek Auto Storage 2.
Also you will notice they sell "Used Auto Parts " and Used cars. Probably from their victims. Most people need to learn that they can file complaints and reclaim their losses after they take the offending parties to court. Also people should understand that they can easily file a complaint online against the VSF, VSF employee, Tow Company and Tow driver. 4 complaints total. Also if they refuse to show you the information as required by law that they do then that is another complaint to register.
