My fiance and I vist this hotel on 0ct/17/2016 this hotel Beach & Town hotel in Hollywood FL is scaming guest out out of their deposit money. And this is why I say this... We rented a hotel for a week, which they overall charged us as total of $400 plus $50 dollar deposit. As of the time of check out, housekeeping was told to check our room three different times. After the third time of checking our room which has been clean and in good condition for next guess. Which I have on video record and I have taken pictures. They came to a conclusion as to why not to give our deposit money back of $50. Their first conclusion was a missing burner on stove. Which I have been your work or the housekeeper admitting to the owner of the hotel taking the burner off the stove before we moved in.
Then their next conclusion as to why not to give our deposit money is that, one of our towels was dirty. First of all one towel is not the same vaul of a $50 deposit... the housekeeper was very nasty. And told us if we mess up something we have to pay for it. I feel like she was part of this scam! After hesitating on calling the police when I told them to call the police. I asked them to show me it on paper about the deposits which they could not reveal that information. This hotel is scamming the General Public out of money and need to be investigated. Unlawful business practice Beach &Town Hotel in Hollywood FL... I will not suggest anyone to put surrender over their money to this hotel this hotel is a fraud! The owner Sheila is a scam artist, she an older lady we teach our children to do the same a guy who's really buff. In her younger daughter who is really short.
