They advertised on Craigslist ( should of been my first clue ) that they did engine rebuilding. I called around for quotes and they were a little cheaper. I had my truck towed there and was asked for a 50 % deposit. 1,500 of the 3,000 quoted. She even offered to come to my home on that weekend to pick up the deposit ( should of been another clue ) I went up to their shop that following week and paid the deposit. From that point on for the next several months, it was one excuse after another to where they were at with the rebuild.
It got to the point where they wouldn't answer my telephone calls. Finally after 4 MONTHS---YES 4 MONTHS I filed a complaint with the Department of Professional Regulation and the Department of Agriculture who handles auto repair complaints. I also contacted my attorney who made a phone call to them and he was told that I needed to come pick up my vehicle as I had filed complaints against them and they didn't care to finish the job.
He also asked for my deposit back and they refused. I went there and was given my truck back in pieces.
Parts of the engine were placed inside the truck, which damaged my leather seats, the gas tank was even removed. If this site allows me to attach photos I will. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a repair shop ! I'm also an aircraft owner, and I've had aircraft engines rebuilt in a less than a month which are much more complicated than a truck engine.I would suggest to anyone to really research this shop before letting them more on your vehicle.
