This company Bark.com targeted us with leads for approximately 4 or 5 months and we finally decided to sign up for $96.00 to receive leads based on all the positive reviews posted online. The minute we signed up and starting contacting the leads, most of the people (leads) would not even follow up with us, one or two that did responded tried to sell us products, most wanted free service and no where close to the amount Bark.com indicated on the price for services. Using Bark.com was a huge waste of time, frustration and money! Every time we spoke with Bark.com Representative they always had an excuse why we were not closing on any of the leads like we did not respond fast enough (responded on some with in 3 minutes). This was a very bad experience and very expensive. Do not use this company!

BARK.COM ARE SCAMMERS

I wish I had read your review before trusting them with my money.

The lead had already secured job elsewhere. Money grabbing attitude not customer friendly at all.

Bark refused to give my money back.

I was told I should have read the fine print and basically to bugger off and could leave if I want. But no money back.

I will advise all professionals and freelancers to avoid. You are better off on etsy and fiverr. Better yet, stick to whatever you currently have and don't get robbed by this lot.

I first wrote this company management on February 28, expressing my disappointment with their business proficiency, and that I wasn't procuring any, "Leads/Clients/income". I asked for a full-refund only to be told, they don't give refunds. They're policy is, if I don't procure a single, "Leads" as they call it; they will simply restart my Leads for free. I was never told this on the onset of signing up with their Sales Rep Sophie nor any other Rep I've spoke with on numerous occasions.

I've made multiple attempts with Leads only to find 98% never returned any of my calls and the remaining 2% wasn't serious or couldn't afford such service. I had two hang up on me; one credit wasn't returned because they stated, "I made contact with the person." I had two employees look over my profile in hopes of them aiding me on how to better my success rate. I was told by Sophie herself, "I had one of the best profiles she's ever seen"; both she and another employee, Edward told me I was following their guidelines to the tee: which was to respond quickly; call all Leads straight away, and follow through with sending a email.

I get alerts on my computer and always respond instantly hoping to be the first to make contact. Once I see someone of interest, I call & always follow through with additional calls. It seems the Recruiting department is merely filling up space with people who have no interest in this type of service or can't afford to pay. I've expressed to the last manager LIAM I have not procured one Lead. I'm nearly done using the credits I paid for and I want a refund. I don't think this is working only to be told the same response as before. I've now contacted at least 14 potential clients & only spoke with two. It's been a couple of weeks & no Leads is returning any of my calls or emails.

Who wants to continue to keep trying with no success rate of securing new clientele or making money? The money and credits I paid for is not equaling to the level of income in return. These people are not serious about wanting my type of business for a Life Coach and Spiritual Reader. I feel like they are scamming unsuspected consumers of our time and money. They make claims they have interested professional clients, but the numbers are not adding up. I have lost all interest in continuing to try, I only have a few credits left and I no longer want to continue with their so-called business practices.

Their first mistake is not being foreright in their policies; having it in writing with their company guidelines is not enough. This should be told on the onset in conducting new business alliance. The second main issue is the Recruiting department needs to be retrained or have a more in-depth screening aptitude in choosing people who are wanting such service now, and are truly ready to get started. I've never heard of any company not allowing the ability to have ones refund returned. This make me question why? ReplyForward

This company uses the unethical business practice of Automatically Debiting Ones Credit Card Without Authorization for Auto-Renewing Credits for more bogus leads. I bought a test batch of credits to test the service and quality of leads for $120, and Without Knowing, As soon as my test credits were used up, BARK automatically debited my Credit Card WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION for an additional $180.

WTF kind of F'ed Up business hides an auto-credit-re-up switch that they have on by default without you knowing or authorizing. This is a scam business practice. And they never answer emails or phone calls.

Do not use this business.

What a joke! You pay for leads that you never get a response from, They stop responding if you do make it to the closing for payment. If you are not expecting to waste your $$$ on some possibly bogus leads, do not go to Bark.

They tell you that you have a credit return policy in your order but their policy is they can only return them under certain circumstances. I truly believe they are putting fake lead in their system as I signed up fir both sides, I never requested assistance and I got a message with my own name looking for assistance. You may get lucky with a lead every now and again but I never did after two months. The women that answer the phones try to be hardcore and continue to say it’s against the policy to return credits when the men are ok with doing it after some minor research.

I would not recommend them and their suspicious leads to anyone in any business. Just because people come to your site and select certain categories, save it to the site, doesn’t mean they are a lead, they just have certain interests. And finally, the leads are contacted by 5 or more people within the hour of signing up instead of it being first come first serve, the lead gets frustrated with all the calls. Straight up rip off, people are paying for the same leads over and over while Bark sits back and collect $$$ based on shitty leads. Dam shame, I guess I’ll create a real leads company to show them how ethical companies should do it!
