The website and app accepts payements and even sends email confirmation. Then I discover, days to weeks later, that the payment did not go through after all. This happened month after month. Every month I call and I am told it is corrected, only to discover later that it is not.
Last month, the website tried to pull money from a different bank account than the one I clicked. When I called, I was told this would be corrected, and in addition, I removed the extra account from the site so it could not happen again. In fct, the site still tried to pull money from the wrong account 3 more times after I was told that the problem was corrected. Additionally, my account page has a message in big red letters "a payment was returned. Please make a payment." I was told that this message is permanent and cannot be deleted.
These mistakes have caused me to incur bank overdraft fees and the whole debacle has affected my credit rating.
I originally had a jetblue business credit card with amex, at some point over the years jetblue switched to barclays which was the worst decision jetblue could ever make. ever since i was unwillingly switched over to barclays (keep in mind i think i have had this credit card now for 11 years or so) its been a nightmare.
you cant set up auto pay online, you have to send them "secure messages" so that the dept can do it for you with a letter, yes a letter!!!! to them stating your banking account number, your routing number and that you authorize them to setup autopay with your new banking which is a real scam for them to only do it half the time and when they dont be prepared to be charged $78 in fees!!
that is right, you are at their mercy if they get the message and if they decide to do it. i have an amex platinum, and a chase saphire, it takes 3O seconds to login and change that with any normal bank or credit card company. in the passed several years i had to call these people each time for them to dictate me what to write to them to change my account, its beyond ridiculous, today after fighting over with them over $78 in fees that they charged me yet again for the 6th or 7th time in 10+ years of having this card, i paid my balance and full and said enough.
the crazy part is that they were making more than that in interest from me each month, now gone. do not do businsess with barclays, their customer service sucks. oh and i had to close the account twice because of course the first time it wasnt done right. i spoke to a supervisor tabitha at extension1052223 i hope someone over there will listen to the tape and hear what kind of horrible company they are, their computer systems from the 80's which makes you writes letters and their horrible customer service. stay way people!
