Barbara Lew/ Barb Lew, real estate agent realtor is uncurteous, greedy and ethical. I had previously bought a home through her and she has got to be the most pushing agent out there. She would push you, the buyer, the client she represents, into spending out of your comfort zone, as a means of pocketing more agent commissions. She does not take time into explaining anything in the contracts, rushes you into signing them, and would also have excuses that she needed to 'leave' for other appointments, because she's got better things to do than explaining situations with the client.
During escrow, she took the liberty into putting white-out on names and signatures, because, quote: "sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do". These are legal documents and what she did was illegal. She was very proud of what she did as well. She tried bribing the apprisaer during appraisal - absolutely unethical. She's one of those agents that would try to push you into buying an area she knows about, rather than an area that the client wants that she doesn't know much about. Horrible negotiation skills. Poor communicator and unresponsive. Constantly complaining about her personal life, and being overly dramatic. With so many qualified agents in the city, there's no reason to hire this horrendous head case maniac.
