I called this bank because I needed access after almost a year of not using. I gave the representative my name last name address date of birth full social security. After that he continued requiring more answers to "if me” questions which I failed because its been a year without accessing account, a transaction was a deposit from another company so forth I wanted to log in to know the amount which representative required. How Im I going to give transaction info after a year? Why the bank did not close account after so long without use? Now I got money in the bank and they refuse to give me access to it. I will wait for the government agency to proceed and collect this money back otherwise I will send three certified letters requiring them to close account and give the rest of the money. If they keep refusing I will hire a lawyer and sue them with remuneration required to pay the attorney and it wont be a cheap attorney.
I had just opened these accounts several weeks ago and was getting ready to transfer all of my funds to this bank. I notified them at the beginning that I could only get mail that was sent to my post office box. I got all the mail they sent me except one. They sent it to the street address that they already knew would not work. The mail was returned and my account was placed on hold without them even calling me to ask any questions about it. I had already sent them copies of my driver license when I opened the account. I had to sent ANOTHER copy of my license & utility bill through email. I also sent them a copy of a letter that they had sent me to show that the po box was the correct address. Account is still on hold four days later. I called just now and she said she'll have to call me back. It's a good thing I did not have the bulk of my money in this bank or I would have been up the creed without a paddle! Do NOT do business with BOFI Internet Bank! You will regret it.
