Bahija jabari from gatineau is a scammer. We had a disastrous experience renting an apartment to her, and i regret it everyday not to have run a background check on her. As a small landlord, i don’t have the resources to properly vet every candidate. When i first spoke with bahija jabari in regards to renting her one of our apartments, she seemed to be ok. What a horrible decision on my end.
It’s now been 5 months and she never paid a single penny in rent. Despite running after her countless times and sending her letters asking her to pay the rent as outlined in our lease agreement, bahija jabari completely ignored us. I want to publish this scamion about her to warn other landlords not to do business with her, especially small landlords like me. To make matters worse, even his neighbors are complaining about her being impolite, loud, rowdy, and above all dirty. I can’t evict her because of the current situation, and bahija jabari is abusing the system to stay in the apartment without ever paying anything.
