We received a quote from Bahia Mar for a slip during the summer. A week ago we were contacted by Bahia Mar asking if we wanted to consider moving our boat to the marina. We called back and asked if the price quote that we received was still effective and followed up with an email to the same effect. We were told by Sasha Morel at Bahia Mar via email that the quote was good. Based on the written confirmation of the quote, we gave notice on our current slip which is at a much lower price than Bahia Mar. When we received the contract, however, the price was 70% more.
