Purchased furniture from Baers Furniture provided the "Appearnce " at their store as NEW furniture.

I WISH I HAD READ the Hundreds of reviews of Baer's furniture on multiple web sites from consumers as myself whom have suffered. It has been THREE months , I was "delivered" damaged USED furniture. Upon delivery the third party moving Company contracted by Baers REFUSED to take he damaged USED furniture back ( per the orders of the owner). It has been NEARLY three months of this NIGHTMARE. Baers even sent me FedEx a "part" for me to fix the Sofa. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE OR COMPANY IS WHAT I reccomend. I will NOT give up EVER in getting my monies returned. Baers Furniture REFUSES to return my funds and have their furniture picked up. It has been Months, I BELEIVE "JUSTICE" WILL eventually prevail.

I picked out a living room accent chair with the help of sales person who stated the design of chair would be perfect with the picture of my sofa and living room that I showed her. She was forceful and assured me it would look great when I said I was not sure. The next week I called to cancel order because the chair was not the right style per designer and she stated I could not because it was a special order and I had to take it. She was very rude.

When I spoke to Manager, Kent, He said I don't need to take the chair, they would credit my $49.00 delivery fee but they would keep the remainder of deposit. He said he can't make adjustment untill the chair came in. Seven weeks later, they still did not credit the delivery fee to me.

I contacted customer service and spoke with Mr. Baers. He was very unprofessional. It did not phase him that the sales person did not know what she was doing, gave me wrong advice, was rude and that the manager did not follow thru on his promise to refund delivery fee. I asked him if he understood where I was coming from and he blatantly said "no, I don't". He stated I was not getting my delivery fee refunded and they were keeping the whole deposit which included tax and delivery fee.

He showed no regret for how I was treated, no apology, or concern that I was a unsatisfied customer. Absolutely Poor customer service. Buyer Beware! No wonder they are closing stores. Bad experience, unethical company, only care about sales.

Bought several pieces of furniture from Baers in Naples in May of 2016. It was purchased for a condo that we recently bought in Bonita Bay Florida. The furniture was delivered on the day I was returning to go back to New york.( So it was never used until we returned in Oct). We are seasonal people down here! We came back to Florida in October of 2016 and started to use the furniture. Shortly after sitting on the main chair my husband was complaining that the chair was really uncomfortable. We put in a call right away and they came to check the furniture. The repair technician said at that time that the "Chair would break in to "give it time" Well fast forward to the following season and now this season and not only is my husband sitting in a hole but the couch is starting to collapse as well. I have had to put a lawn cushion under the chair seat to keep him from sinking further. The technican was called back BECAUSE IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM THAT WE ORIGINALLY COMPLAINED ABOUT IN 2016. (THE SEAT CUSHION AND HOW BAD IT WAS). That being said the tech now stated that he would order us a new core. That was Jan. 16th, 2018. No one contacted me again until I made contact with them a week or two later to find out what was going on. The company told me that the core was ordered and would take 6-8 weeks.

WHAT...I continued to call and then at the end of March they said the cushion was in. BUT I HAD TO CALL THEM. I then told them that this was no longer an acceptable solution because the couch cushions were having the same problem. I also felt that even if they came to put the new core in right before we were going home we would have no time to see if they were going to work. It would have only given us a week to try them out before we went home. it is then that I told them that i wanted my money back for all three peices because even though this was a name brand ,BROYHIL set, it was terribly made and was the worst furniture that I have ever purchased. I, quite frankly was surprised that Baers was selling furniture of this poor quality and that in fact the reason that I chose Baers was because I thought they carried better quality furniture.

I have now for the past two weeks, been given the run around, and even told them if they were to give me my money back that I would rebuy something else from their store ,most likely resulting in me spending much more money. I have repeatedly been told the same thing as written per script for Baers employees.1. It is past the warranty.---WRONG. I first complained about this problem when it was brand new.And now it is getting worse. And the problem is also that we are seasonal people.2. That the furniture would wear in over time like a pair of shoes---WRONG...maybe shoes break in if they are good leather which is also imposssible to find today. I know this because I bought another outstanding chair at the same time from Baers that I bought this set and it has been comfortable since the day I first bought it.3. Well THEY SAY "we ordered the cores for you and that is all we can do"...EVEN THOUGH IT HAS TAKEN ALMOST THREE MONTHS TO ARRIVE AND I WONT BE HERE TO SEE IF THEY ACTUALLY WORK?

None of these solutions or comments are acceptable to me in any way. Sadly everything that is being made and sold today in AMERICA is of EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY, from shoes,to appliances, to mattresses, to furniture or food, you name it..It is most likey an import and of terrible quality. The poor consumer is having to digest spending in my case almost $1800 for furniture that I cannot use...After maybe sitting on it for three months TOTAL...How is that fair? And it is truly not acceptable. to vcchoke on this response. THEREFORE I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR A REPURCHASE. SHAME ON THESE COMPANIES...I AM SURPRISED THAT THERE ARE NOT MORE LAWSUITS GOING ON TO FINALLY PUT AN END TO THIS MADNESS. GRRRR

Well, maybe we were not lucky. We get Elba, a furnishing consultant, after she visited our home, and we all, expend time working on the plan to find the pieces of furniture, we paid thousand of dollars and was waiting until we decided to call the store. They said she was in a meeting, the day after they told me she was not working, 3rd day calling they said she was not working any anymore in the store. Also, they asked me to back to the store to the next day to talk with the manager. I called the manager; he did not answer. I spoke to the owner to stop the business and get our money back, but she said " Sr, do you read the part of the contract were said the social orders are not refundable". Sr. It is anything else that I can help you?

We continue calling to the store, then the "new" manager answered, he repeated like a machine the same, It is not refundable, my name is Frank," Three times in one min he told his name is Frank. End of the history, still we don't know where are the furniture and nobody call us with any answer. Maybe there are busy trapping other victims.
