Bad Medina Cosmetics, which is a relatively new company, launched back in 2016 by Bad Medina, LLC in affiliation with Mayweather Promotions, LLC. I have been having issues with this company since the fall of 2017 (around October). I (I even have friends who have made an order or were routine customers) have tried to email them nearly ten times at their customer service email (only email listed on their website), one listed on their Facebook beginning with "hello”, and even "social” (listed on their Instagram). I have NEVER received a response back from them since October. It is questionable as to why they have at least 3 different e-mail addresses listed across their social media accounts and do not respond to any email address listed. There are much bigger makeup companies who do not have an issue replying to their customers or potential customers.
I refuse to continue support a company who does not communicate with potential or existing customers. On their website they list "customerservice” for all questions or concerns (shipping, order problems, etc). That is false information along with the fact that they state you will receive a response in "two business days or sooner". Another issue I have is with false advertising on the website. They have this phrase "Learn How To Earn Free Products" on their website and that program probably hasn't been running for a year. They need to take it down if it had errors or until it is available if ever. The website has multiple errors in which the company has been made aware of multiple times. These errors should not be present on a company website with near/over $1 million startup.
Some other errors that need to be fixed are: gift cards showing sold out for over 6 months but still having the ability to being added to a cart (that button should not work at the very least), the new products such as eye lashes are shown under 'Lips' when the link should be under 'Face', customer reviews should be approved regularly (they haven't been since about 4 or 5 months after the company launched), the order emails still say ( c)2017 not (c) 2018 like the website, the 'Lipkits' section should state "Sorry, there are no products in this collection" just like Trendy Trios does. They need to update their other sites such as Amazon Prime store and Facebook more often. There have been products such as Younge Rouge unavailable on there for months when they have multiple available in stock on their website. Also with Facebook, they still have bundles such as the entire lip gloss collection that use to be available on their website for customers to buy. Back with Jessy H was working there the company always responded to emails and even had a customer service phone number. It has LOWERED its quality of the website and customer service .
I know last year they had the lawsuit in July with World Wide Packaging who produced many of their products and packaging which was closed in August for Breach of Contract (over $250,000 owed). Another problem was that I informed Doralie Medina (owner of Bad Medina Cosmetics) on Instagram Live about this and she never apologized, offered an explanation, or said she will look into it. She just asked "what did you buy ?" The website clearly says that potential customers can email customer service with any questions they have not just about an order. That was very unprofessional. She said she would restock certain lipsticks like Night Out for months and hasn’t, doesn’t have the website updated with photo shoot pictures she took, doesn’t launch new products like mirrors to foundations, etc. I know the lawsuit was a lot to deal with as with running’s business in general but Bad Medina Cosmetics needs to make some major improvements with addressing customer service concerns and maintaining a professional website. In the past this company has lied to BBB and said they never received emails. Very bad practices. Ownership needs to be taken.
