I saw offer to do back ground check on individuals for $1.99 as a trial. I opened up website and offered my Credit Card to pay for the one time search. I got results on myself, which is all I needed. There were several options to join which I turned down and only requested a PDF download so I could print out the results.
7 days later, I was charged $99.00 for membership...I was informed via phone that 7 day trial period was not cancelled and that is reason I was charged the $99.00 membership fee...I told them to cancel and not to charge any more since I was not and never had been interested in the membership...
Indicated they were unable to refund my charges since I had dispute with the charges thru my Credit Card company...
