I hate doing this, but I need to give everyone a heads up. Do NOT use Bach's Cart & Cycle in Groves, TX. I brought him my bike for some repairs, gave him $300 to diagnose the issue, which he found pretty quick (broken oil pump drive gear). After having bike for 3 weeks, he said he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't crank & didn't have time to mess with it anymore. I had to pay him another $150 for parts, & $450 for labor just to get my bike back. Took it to another Local mechanic who found out why. Cam was 2 teeth off time & plug wires were crossed. After correcting that, she fired right off, but now had zero oil pressure. After digging further into it, he found a plugged oil line, & missing bolts in various places, including motor mounts that weren't missing before I brought it to Bach. When I finally was able to get in touch with him, he called me a liar. I requested SOME of my money back and told him I was willing to pay him the $300 diagnostic & $150 parts (even though that was more than they cost), but asked for the $450 labor back since I had to pay someone else to fix EVERYTHING he had done. He told me I was a liar & refused to refund anything. Well, Chris Bach, I gave you a chance to make it right, along with several days to consider it. You chose not to, so I'll make sure your name & your business name get the acknowledgement that you deserve. You're a crook & have no business working on engines.
