Azoos.com, LLC Reviews

  • Dec 29, 2018

My complaint is that I spent over $250 dollars to have a "resume writer" actually redo my resume. I sent my original resume and instead received a jumbal of information that in no way resembled the accurate dates, had multiple errors, and the resume was not chronological. As an example to my complainaint of how they responded to the confusing chronology, of having the middle of my career at the end of the resume or the end in the beginning so it was not even chronological!

Resume Writers Wrote -- This was done to be a partially FUNCTIONAL rather than chronological resume but again, happy--to revise it as this is the DRAFT we agreed to send you for revision.

This response is illogical because all my positions have the same function, and to do this much “revision” beggars the question if I would actually need them.

Another example is when I complained that the dates were all wrong.

Resume Writers Wrote -- The dates appear to reflect the information you provided to us but we're happy to revise them; Just let us know the correct dates!

Which is a lie because I gave them a resume I had used for years. So they could not have proofread the resume. The obvious conclusion to “appear to reflect” is a good example of the prevarication of their answers. I was able to know the real dates from the original resume I sent them. Furthermore, it should be noted, that to appease the Better Business Bureau they sent another version of the resume with mostly correct dates, so they must have had the correct info from my submittal all along since I sent them no new information!!

They claim to have had only one complaint out of 1000. Which given the subjectivity of a resume writing service is hardly believable. So I do not think they are honest about their service.

They claim I signed a Terms of Agreement, in other words “fine print”. I may have in just paying for the thing via the internet on a credit card. But it is in direct contradiction to the big letters upfront on the template for the service.

This is from there website:

If you're not working within 45 days of receiving your new resume, we'll revise it, refund your money, AND pay you an extra $100* -- Now THAT'S confidence!

Whether you need an entry-level resume to appeal to a prospective employer, a career change resume to transition into your new profession, an advanced executive-level document, or even a Government/ Federal resume and/or KSA responses, our full-time staff if experienced resume specialists is available 7 days a week to help YOU get EMPLOYED in the capacity YOU want... > Click Here To Get Started ! END

Everything other than the hidden caveats gives a none contestable agreement. Then when you try to use what the website says, such as being able to speak to someone, the service says that I should have paid extra for that. But all the information to draw one into purchasing the service is littered with words that guarantee things that the small print and particulars negate what the front page says.

The reason, I believe I deserve a complete refund is because I did not get a useable resume, they obviously did not proof read it, and was so much in error, I had to start from scratch. It would have taken almost as much time as correcting them. I believe almost no human actually wrote the resume unless they were having a stroke at the time of its creation, and I feel they have software program to the actual “writing”. They could not be reached by phone, (they say that is extra, to have my phone calls answered) and it was taking so long to get a response I gave up and complained to the BBB.

I believe that mistakes are made, so if the client catches small errors that slip by, it is ok. But when the resume in no way resembling the information given by the client and is rife with errors, the original professionalism of the service is null and therefore of deceptive value. What I purchased was a service to perfect or improve on my original resume which I gave them. They did not do that and communicating with them was too difficult, time is a factor.

I have included my correspondences with the BBB below.

Consumer's Original Complaint :

A resume service, that can not be reached by phone, has no personal interaction except via email responses days later is not keeping to expectations

The website lists many things, one of which that it has an "A Plus" rating from the BBB. This helped make my decision to go into business with them. This service claimed to create a custom resume with professional resume writers. The resume I received was inaccurate and did not fit my idea of a professional Resume. I tried to call Resume Service and left messages but no one called to resolve these issues. WE excahanged many emails but nothing happens, it just goes around and around. I think this deliberate because they do not expect anyone to complain and just accept whatever is given over as a resume. I have made numerous attempts to have reach them but there is no live person to help. In the end this is a resume service that puts every resume in a blender and gives out the same thing. They eventually wanted me to tell them every little detail that I wanted changed but that is not a resume service but typists. They have not made any personal attempt at reaching me except obscure emails. I have asked for a refund but they have not responded. And i have a hard time believing that with 12 complaints against them on your site, that they really have a A + rating. If they do not then they are also being misleading.
