AXS Reviews

In October, I bought two tickets for the Charlie Puth concert in Los Angeles on November 9th; at the last minute, I could not go, so I decided to sell the re-sale tickets on the AXS website. I was lucky enough to sell them in less than 20 minutes two tickets for 497.75.

However, around 1 am that night, I got an email from flash tickets saying that someone had changed my email; I called the next day, and they could not give me an answer to that email, but I was still able to log in to my account, but in payments, it stated that it was Fraud reported. But the 497.75 dollars appeared as a balance on my account; then, I transferred it to my account.

I've written them to BBB, but the BBB also lacks creablitlity as AXS, and I have been in discussion with no honest answer. So BBB will not publish my report on the AXS profile. Today I got an email that the because of fraud, AXS refunded all partys money.

On 11/21/2019 I purchased 2 tickets in the amount of $452.70 to the Martin Lawrence LIT AF Tour. Due to COVID19 the concert was indefinitely postponed. I contacted AXS and they refused to give a refund. They said the concert may be rescheduled for sometime next year but they had no definitive information. I requested my refund being that the event date passed and there was no established postponement date.

They never would issue a refund, just kept giving me the run around for over a year and a half! In 2021 they finally rescheduled the concert. However they then transferred my tickets into their company name so I can't access them at all! I have called and emailed and they keep telling me someone will call me back and they never do. This has been going on for 2 years almost and I'm totally fed up! I'm seeking legal counsel to sue.

Clarity Digital Media LLC was the parent company for the web news portal, Examiner.com. It actively recruited freelance writers, paying them for page views for each article submitted. When the website closed on July 10, Clarity stated they would pay every writer what was owed to them. It is now over 1 month later and I have yet to see any funds.

I had accrued several months' worth of funds, was one of their highest rankinig writers and had extensive readership. The site closed due to serious mismanagement, poor quality workmanship from the majority of its writers and at the end, its "spammy" nature - lots of popups, pop-unders, etc. that took away from any sense of professionalism. They have an alternative website covering entertainment that is SO bad, I received a nasty note from one of my READERS stating that it locked up his computer and he had to power down in order to close out of it. Needless to say, I am pretty disgusted - first, with not being paid what is owed to me and second, being associated with a site that is now 99% spam and click-bait.

Because Examiner.com had regional microsites for every major city in the US, I'm sure there are any number of writers who are in my same position. We put in our time and effort, we did our OWN marketing and Clarity got the rewards. I'm just asking for the money that I earned and is owed to me. Clarity already took a good part of my earnings off the top.
