Avalanche, LLC Reviews
I jointed the dating service, Seniorsoulmates.com in August 2016. Within a few days of joining, when I signed itnot the site I noticed that it said I had messages from several men. These were not messages that the men had written personally though. These were messages that seemed to have been chosen from a drop down menu and they included things like:
--hey nice profile
--nice picture
--I want to know more about you
--can I take you out to dinner?
--can we chat sometimes?
Well when I checked the profile of some of these men and their date preference, I did not fit the profile of someone they wanted to date. I could not understand why men who said they wanted their date to be slim or average, Asian, White or Latino was sending me a message since I fit none of the characteristics they wanted in a date. I chalked it up as maybe they were willing to date me because I was attractive to them. I made contact with each of those who sent me a message and did not hear back from the majority of them. Again, I thought maybe they changed their minds.
I did contact the site and explain that I seem to be getting messages from men that don't seem to prefer someone with my attributes. I even suggested some type of filter be in place where if I don't fit a man's preference, then those messages not be send. They wrote back and said they did not yet offer this type filtering and would keep my suggestion in mind.
Again, my message mail box is filled with the type of messages that I mentioned above. It seems that the site has something called a "Megawink" and I am not sure what criterion they use for these winks but from what I can figure out, these megawinks are sent out enmass and they are not specific to any particular person. This megawink gives the appearance that you have people interested but when I followed up on these interest , no one responded.
I think this "Megawinks" business is a rip off. It makes you think that you are getting messages from men( or women) who are really interested but in actuality it is just a set of "canned" messages sent out to people who are of similar ages or in the age range one is looking for. If you are going to do the megawinks then you should at least the messages go out to people who are seeking a person based on race, body type and maybe smoking and drinking. Again by sending out these megawinks the site is giving the impression that messages are being sent by people who have a real interest in knowing you, but this is false and misleading.
I have cancelled my membership in this rip off dating site.
A total They never seem to have anyone answer your messages. They tell you so and so is interested, have the same interests, religion.,proximity to where you live. And you never hear another word. I think it is all a hoax and they just put random people on the Internet. Never again!
