Avalanche Cane Corso puppies are not healthy. Our girl only lived only 18 months. She died from an enlarged heart and lymphoma. I was given the puppy way too early. They lied about her age. She was a lot younger (vet said 4 weeks not 8) when we got her and full of worms. Then as she got a little older she had horrible skin issues. Sores that turned into small scabs. I noticed she never got all her teeth. Her symptoms that ultimately led to her death came on rather quickly. She went from a happy playful dog that did not want to go on walks anymore. She had trouble breathing and her belly looked swollen. She was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and with put on blood pressure medicine. About a month later she got a swelling under her right forearm. The vet put her on Lasix and antibiotics. She did not get better her belly got huge and every lymph nodes swelled. We had to put her down. We spent over $5000. total between her cost and vet bills etc..: These dogs are not cheap to own , do your research first!
