Future Potential Clients- AutoMojo (NDIGroup) has tarnished their name so badly they were forced to completely rebrand and change names in hopes of fooling future potential clients into thinking they are this new dynamic company. They claim to have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry but have no where near a seasoned staff or resources as their competitors. They have resorted to utilizing kids from a local car wash to send around the country with minimal training to execute dynamic event and auto show services. They will over charge and under deliver. They are unable to keep experienced employees around long enough to perform necessary tasks properly and or safely. Over the past few years their greed, failure to deliver and lack of employee retention has caused many long term loyal clients to drop them and seek out other options. Future potential employees- If you are considering employment with this company here are the things they will not tell you: You could potentially be on the road up to 90 days straight. You will miss Christmas, New Years and thanksgiving at home. You will rarely get a rental vehicle or taxi reimbursement and will be forced to walk to work rain or shine. Minimum working hours per day is 12 and can be more than 48 hours straight no questions asked. You basically have to work until the job is done no matter the length of time. If any family emergency happens and you have to get home you will be paying for the flight out of pocket(don't believe what they tell you they will only bite the cost if your mother, father, or spouse actually die) If anything happens before you leave and cannot make it you will be paying for the pre booked flight out of pocket. If you accidentally damage any property while working you will be paying out of pocket(they actually withheld money owed to an employee to cover damages 2017) if you cannot produce a receipt for any company expenses you will be paying out of pocket(credit card statements are not good enough) 99% of the time you will be sharing a room with someone you barely know. You will be a number on a spread sheet. You will be forced to be on call 24/7 and have to report to them anytime you are traveling away from your home base on your own personal time or you will be reprimanded. You will have a ton of smoke blown up your a** but behind closed doors will not be valued what so ever, to them you are always expendable no matter what they tell you. Your management team has very little experience or understanding of what the job entails and the toll it takes on your mental/physical health. Yes you will be traveling the country but all you will get to see is your hotel and the inside of convention centers (unless you want to go sight seeing in the 8 hours of free time you have from the time you get done working that night and when you have to be back the next morning) 90%of the time you will have a 5:30-6:00 am departure flight to the event and will have to go straight into a 12 hour work day so hope your near the airport and well rested. Mid season half of the staff will quit and they will not have a back up plan in place or proper staffing and your work load will double or triple. The management team will cut any cost at your expense to drive their personal profit bonuses that you will not have any part of. Your yearly bonus will be that you will not get laid off in the summer and work your a** off even when they said they are slow (if you lucky). Don't be surprised if you are made to come in and do odd jobs/construction labor for the owners so they can save thousands on outside labor expenses during your personal down time that you earned through a season of killing yourself. They actually had their employees perform numerous construction jobs when building new car washes instead of hiring and supporting local professional companies. The employees were never thanked in any way, or payed anything extra instead the owner used the thousands he saved to buy a water jet pack...."ouch". They will try to give you a fancy title, trust me this means nothing it's mainly a loop hole so they don't have to pay overtime to salaried employees. They will try and say your a manager or technician but your really a grunt. You will be provided with minimal planning/labor/insight for an event and will be expected to troubleshoot problems without any support from the management team. Just a FYI the industry standard pay is $250.00 per day minimum just ask all the competitors employees. Also search NDI Group.
