They denied my claim becuase the address i gave on the warranty was not my home but my buisness.
I only give out my business physical address for everything including al lmy personal billing. I do have a residence but dont recieve mail there, i dont even have a mail box there.
My BMW 335d suffered a glow plug failure requiring replacement of glow plugs and glow plug controller while under warranty. AutoAssure refused to pay for the parts and labor required to repair the engine, stating that this kind of repair was excluded. Since this is an integral part of the engine required for its function and is not normally an item that is periodically replaced such as oil or spark plugs, I find their refusal to be fraudulent.
When I called to discuss the matter, they put me on hold on two occasions for more than 20 minutes. When I requested a call back on an automatic answering machine, I received no call back. This company is clearly not selling a product that they support, and is behaving in a fraudulent manner.
I have continually asked this Planco, TX company to stop calling me, and I have also asked them to stop sending notices that read like a legal, threatening document if I don't comply with sending money to have a service contract for my automobile...that my manufacturer's warranty is about to expire. I do not need them to tell me about my warranty as I know what it is. Their notice reads like it is connected to the manufacturing company. I want this to stop. This is a rip-off!
Received the same letter as described by other people here--very official looking and seems to be connected or affiliated with the vehicle manufacturer, along with an expiring and tight time limit. Companies of this type are already notorious scammers, and i am aware of this as i already have an extended warranty in place from a reputable company with excellent customer service, reviews, and track record, so it raised my suspicions, additionally, after some research i found repeated and consistent 'autoassure llc' complaints that have been reported to the better business bureau, and from many other postings to be expressing it to be a baseless front. I'm grateful for the postings and the community voice, so i am adding to that list of people receiving this fraudulent junk mail posing as manufacturer connected.
