Auto Spot, LLC. Reviews

This company sold me a vehicle, with all my data filled out in their paperwork. I drove hours to get there, twice. I signed 20 times on their terms, "as is" and paid in full with a certified check. Walked out to the vehicle and the very lot staff "lost" the key when it was time to take possession of the car and drive home, with the Temp plate attached.

The lot staff are sleazy as it gets.

Note: if prices look too good to be true, they are not true.

They offered to cut a new key... (and keep the old?), but that person never showed up.

One salesman pranking another? Reselling the vehicle for more when they took a deposit? Were they selling a car they use to Hook people on the internet?

Who knows? They tell customers that they will mail them title later-- in 3 weeks. And they give them a plate good for 21 days. When I called the local chief of police sent a car.

Stay Away-- your odds of actually getting a good deal are very small/bad. When I spent hours to lock in a good price on a Okay vehicle, they "lost the key" and offered nothing by a thug shrug (and full refund), right in front of the local police.

To say they are unprofessional is an understatment. They were extraordinarly abusive to us, in front of our 2 year old.

One lot guy was disrespectful to the police when they arrived, refusing to take him to the office, until the police explained that he was about to arrest him. They he followed police direction.

NOTE: Stay Away-- the lot is like the wild west and not a safe place to shop cars on any level.

He's the same guy who manages the brokers and runs back to the owner. He immediately said: "I'm canceling the sale, you can't have the key" when I told him he needs to poduce the key after taking my money and my signed contract or I'm calling the police.

When I went to the finance manager, the manager said: "he can't do that, he's not running things". And he told me to wait for a new key from some guy who makes keys... if I want to drive a car home to my house and park, where someone-- they don't know-- holds on to a few keys. Which means LoJack becomes a requirement.

When the police approached the other owner (who nervous blinks 100/minute) said: "I'd don't have title and probably can not get it even within a few months so I will refund everything you paid".

The lot guys told each other they had the key and would not give it to us, in Spanish. Too bad we speak Spanish and heard the whole scheme.

When I called the police, the owner admitted that they did not have good title, and would not be able to produce title within months, which as exactly the opposite of what they said before the police arrived. I asked if it was bought at auction, and therefore title should be obtainable. He said-- yes, it was bought at title but it's still impossible to get clear title, right in front of local law enforcement. The police got me the full refund, but the lost time and effort was a joke to them.

The police said they go there all the time of reports where these guys refuse to refund people's deposits after promising full refunds.

Do not waste your time. I found nobody remotely honorable there.
