We purchased an intermediate shaft from Auto Parts Direct To You. The part wasn't the right one, as determined after several phone calls we made to them (they never called us back although they made numerous promises to return our calls).
We purchased the product on Amazon.com and used our Amazon card to pay for the purchase. We pay our card off every money to avoid interest charges.
The product was returned on June 25th and a full refund was agreed upon. Last night we went to make a payment and noticed that our refund for the returned intermediate shaft was never put through on our account - two months later. We were forced to pay for this product in full in order to avoid interest charges. (Please note that this discovery was made after hours and Auto Parts Direct To You was closed).
We called Auto Parts Direct To You this morning and asked to speak to a manager. We informed her that we had to pay for the product that was returned almost 2 months ago because they neglected to issue a refund. She stated that "sometimes things get overlooked". We requested that they issue a refund back to our corporate credit card since that was the card that we used to pay our Amazon bill. We informed her that we don't do a lot of business on Amazon and don't want the refund to go to the Amazon card as the credit will sit for an indefinite amount of time before it will be used.
She stated that she was unable to issue the credit to our corporate credit card, that it will have to be credited back to our Amazon account. We again expressed our dismay with this, seeing as how we would be inconvenienced due to their incompetency of issuing our refund and that we would be leaving bad feedback on the rotten customer service and she said, "well YOU are a rotten customer"! Ha! We just hung up on her at that point.
Hoping we get our refund soon. I wouldn't recommend dealing with these jokesters.
