I purchased an engine control computer for my 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 07/26/2013. The module stopped working about 03/24/2017. I contacted them and requested a replacement module for the lifetime warranty and they asked to see the copy of the invoice which I never received one with the module. I contacted e-bay and pay-pal to see if they still had record of the transaction and they did. The transaction information clearly shows my name, address, date of purchase, make madel and year of my vehicle, the amount, the e-bay tranaction number, and Remanfactured with a lifetime warranty. All of that information was provided and they still refused the lifetime warranty. They are total ripoffs and buyer beware. It would be better to spend a little more and get it from a known good company. The only reason I purchased it from Auto Computer Exchange is because it was cheap and the lifetime warranty.
This company is just horrible. Their "warranty" dictates that you have to return the defective ECM they sold you before they will replace it (and who knows how long that will take!) Meanwhile, your car is unusable. I offered to buy a replacement if they would refund my money when they received the defective one - NO REFUNDS. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! Read the Google reviews on them - almost all complaints about being ripped off!
