We receive letter threatening that if we do not call our auto warranty will expire. They say we own a 2013 Corvette, we are a Ford family and have never owned a Chevy Corvette, When they call they tell us they will remove us from their mailings and phone calls then they try to get us to register our current vehicle with them, our vehicles all have extended warranties And we tell them no thank you but they keep insisting when we finally get rude and I have even told them to go to He!! They still call!!!

Sends constant letters on pink paper urging me to buy extended warranty for my vehicle. The way the letter is written stresses urgency in contacting them to buy extended warranty coverage.
They are constantly changing the names of their company, but the letter is always the same, urging you to contact them within 5 days or your "rights will be revoked". They say this will be your only notice, but I receive the same letter consistantly on a monthly basis.
This is obviously a grey-area kind of scam, tricking people into buying extended warranty coverage that most people will never need, and I seriously doubt they will even honor the warranty for people who do buy it.
I have received mail from this company several times. It doesn't list any vehicle make/model in the letter. As I was looking over the letter I noticed a strange sentence. "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract uploaded." Upload a contract? In the fine print area it says " information being used is public information and any person can opt out by going to: www.mail-opt-out.org. Interesting to note, mine has the same address listed as others, but different phone 1-800-400-6475.
Pretty much the same song and dance as the last letter. I don't know where they're getting their info from. I haven't technically owned a car since 2002. Says no other notices will be sent for this offer. I'm getting they'll send a different offer in several more months!
Received un solicited letter in the mail. Would like to know how these scam artists got my home address. I live outside of Tx. They offered fake coverage for my vehicle. My vehicle is new, and already covered under a lease. I told them my vehicle was 20yrs old. They stated they could not offer no coverage! They offered no explanation....Nationwide scam. Avoid them!
Promised I could just cancel no questions asked if I didn't want the policy ( information was supposed to be mailed to me but never arrived). In the meantime I found a policy I liked better. Called them to say I didn't want theirs and was grilled with questions repeatedly and treated rudely by first rep. Next one was just as bad. Stay away from this outfit.
Send out on pink paper to my mother who has been dead for 2 years. there is no information about her old vehicle which has not been used for over 5 years. This is a scam, when I called 800 number to tell them I reported them to the police, they were very rude and said they actually helped people. More like they scammed people.
Repeatedly calling and sending mail that pretends to be an extended warranty from the auto manufacturer.
When you talk to them on the phone they try to imply they're associated with or a subcontrator for the manufacturer or dealership you bought a car from.
They even try to use your VIN number to convince you they're legitimate -- they're not.
The fine print on the letters and website makes clear it's not a warranty or insurance.
The website looks very professional, but it's completely fake. The mailing address (6400 pinecrest drive, Plano TX) is a mailbox drop.
If you look on the web there are hundreds of people who were suckered into doing business with them only to discover it was impossible to collect anything at all from them when repairs come up... for "reasons".
They stall, hangup on you, return letters, claim paperwork was lost - anything to avoid paying. These people are literally scum of the earth.
This so called company sent a letter with my dad's name on it. They threatened to cancel his coverage etc... I called the number listed to tell them they were trying to scam a dead man. Dad died four years ago and these people just sent this piece of junk mail out. Don't fall for it.
I received the bright pink letter telling me to repond immediately to "obtain extended coverage for my vehicle". My car is 20 years old and the warranty expired 17 years ago. Everyone had a good laugh. I hadn't received one of these extended warranty letters in years. I don't know if they are careless about who they contact or if they have decided to contact owners of older cars. Either way I am not going to call their 1-800-795-8169 number. They already have my address. I don't want them to have my telephone number too.
Who are these people? I have recieved phone calls and more junk mail than I can count. Always the same header in tiltle; " IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED ". Always about the same item, " Your factory warranty will or may have expired ".
I have never had a extended warranty for my vehicle from the time of the new car purchase. Yet I'm bombarded by this never ending trail of "Open Immediately" mail. Asked the dealership at the time of purchase when asked about extended warranty, " Do you believe in your product or not?"
In case anyone wonders, the last mail arrived on pink stationary. Of course the only contact number on the pink paper is a phone # , 1866-491-9998. It does list the administrator/Obligor of Vehicle service contract as:
I made the mistake of initially agreeing to this. When I called to cancel a week later I was put on hold for 30 minutes. I didn't hang up because I knew this was a tactic to get me to hang up and just keep it. Finally I got a "supervisor" who put on the sales push. She was very aggressive and when I said I just want to cancel she also got very rude. So glad I got out of this!
Have not bought a car since 2006 (at that time, bought a pre-owned 2003 vehicle). All of a sudden, in 2018, received a letter from "AutoAssure, LLC" (which is only noted in minuscule type at the bottom of the letter, on both the front side and the reverse side; you almost need a magnifying glass to read the name of the company). It supposedly is from the "VEHICLE NOTIFICATION DEPARTMENT", there's a "Vehicle Code" at the top of the letter (same code repeated in a box farther down in the letter, with "Coverage: PENDING" and "Program Term Deadline: 07/28/18" also in the box), and a "Notice Date: July 11, 2018". The letter states: "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract activated... to activate coverage, please call by July 28, 2018." The phone number in the letter is 1-800-400-6135. I didn't call. It's very obviously a scam, especially if you read the minuscule print at the bottom of the front side of the letter: "You may have been selected to receive this special limited time offer from AutoAssure, LLC because of the make and model of your vehicle. Final acceptance is subject to your eligibility to meet our full eligibility requirements. This is an advertisement to obtain coverage. AutoAssure offers vehicle repair coverage for most makes and models and is not affiliated with any specific manufacturer. AutoAssure, LLC is located at 6400 Pinecrest Drive, Suite 400, Plano, TX 75024-2959. Offer is time sensitive because, among other things, if your mileage changes your coverage options may change. Information being used is public information and any person can opt out by going to www.mail-opt-out.org." If you get a letter like this, don't fall for it!
Like others reported, I received the pink slip saying my warranty was running out. WHen i told the salesma, Paul, that I wanted to think about it and talk to my brother who was a mechanic before making a decision, he put me on the phone with his supervisor who told me this was my last chance. Once I hung up, the offer was off the table. They gave me a 'special price' to entice me. BIG TIME PRESSURE. Paul gave me his 'personal number' in case I had any quqestions (no answer when I called back). I realized later that day that I had already purchsed extended warranty coverage through the dealership when I purchased the car. When i phoned the dealershp, they told me that this offer did not come through them and that outside companies were not always reputatble. Checking the internet I see that he was right. I am supposedly have 30 days to cancel. Will be doing that ASAP.
