Received notification by the hotel owner, Don Matteson, that he would not honor my booking due to the potential for him to make more money through another booking. He stated that unless we were willing to pay $1,000 more he would cancel our booking. Our reservation had been made booked for a month before we received this notification and now all other hotel options are booked. Additionally, he stated that if we had a problem with his business practices to report it to the Better Business Bureau. This is not business to be trusted.
