Astro Ford Reviews

Went and talked to a salesman named Adam, he showed us a 2007 Escalade we were interested in. We told him we were trading in our CTS and he said they would give $8000 for a trade in. He couldn't find the key to the Escalade so we said we would come back later. We came back after calling about three different times to confirm he found the key. After we got there the Escalade was not in the parking lot. The service shop had it repairing a tire sensor. We waited for about 30 min for them to bring it around to us to test drive. In the mean time, Adam then passed us off to a salesman named Bud. First name should say enough about this mans character. He went with us on a test drive. The car had cosmetic issues and the asking price was $17,995.00 but was on a special for $16,995.00 that week. On the test drive the car made a clunk noise, had severe power loss and had no tire pressure readings. Told Bud to have service to look it over and if they fix those two issues we will take it. He said ok we will do a $1000.00 repair credit if we don't spend the $1000.00 he will deduct it from the sale price. He said noon tomorrow he will call and let me know. Waited until noon and I called Bud. He said car had a huge list of issues and they wanted to auction off instead. I said how much for it the way it sits and I fix the repairs. He put me on hold for about 5 minutes while he talked to his manager. Came back and said its still the same no less. Then had nerve to tell me he gave me $1000 more for my CTS than what it retails for. I said my car retails for over $10K. He said I was wrong. So we stopped in to show bud my retail one phone of the CTS. The escalade was on the line for sale. Told him you we agreed to $1000.00 repair credit to come off sale price and he said he can't do it today. Now after I already got my bank to to get paper work started he decides to go back on the whole deal. Worse part is some poor lady or man is going to buy a suv with major issues and it will be sold "as is". This a sad place and he is a poor excuse of a salesman. He knew I was a mechanic for gmc before and he knew the car has serious issues so he decides to fool the next person. I warn everyone of this crooked place. Stay clear.
