We contracted with Aspen to manage our rental property in 2014. We signed a Property Management Agreement (PMA) for specific services which Aspen failed to provide, although they were paid monthly to provide those services. Along with Aspen's failure to provide the contracted services they were paid to provide, they collected rents and to date refuse to release those funds, they falsified move/in & move/out inspections, padded invoices for services not performed then deducted funds for those services against our rental income, billed us for repairs that were to be paid by the renters per the lease agreement, they falsely advertised our rental on Zillow and refused to release their ad after we terminated their services, they failed to inspect the property one time during the 1.5 years they were under contract to manage the rental which resulted in the illegal presence of pets, damage to our property, and criminal activity, they hired non-licensed contractors for repairs with no prior notice to owners (violated the PMA), they collected management fees when property was vacant (violated PMA), as well as other consumer violations. All of which are clearly documented in writing with supporting invoices, pictures, and written correspondences between myself, my husband and Aspen. Aspen's actions resulted in a financial loss to myself and my husband. Although we have demanded that Aspen return to us the rent that they collected and to refund to us the money we paid to repair our home after the last renters moved out, they have ignored our requests and turned our demand over to their attorney who, to date, has refused to answer our calls. Aspen will steal your rent money, lie about repairs, falsify inspection documents, pad service invoices, fail to return deposits to tenants, hire corrupt contractors to bill the owners for work that is not completed, and will not do anything they contract to do with property owners. Do your research and stay away from these crooks.
There is no company more well-known for being run by con-artists and scammers. There are no employees more well-known for being pridefully dishonest. There is currently no bigger black eye on the City of Tacoma (and surrounding areas), than Aspen NW Real Estate & Property Management Group, LLC. They harm our citizens daily, they have harmed me, they will harm you.
