Do not shop here. It is a bait and switch operation. The furniture you see in the store is pristine and the furniture you receive at your house is something completely different. We paid 4k for a white leather furniture set, when it got to our house it looked like one of those old ladies who has been in the sun her whole life, a wrinkled mess. The delivery guy told us it was from shipping and a heat treatment would fix it. It didn't. When I called back customer service I spoke to a guy who said that is how it is supposed to look and would do no more, I asked to speak to a manager, who was Edelyn #6378 who told me that the set was within the manufacturers guidelines. It looks like garbage and I wasted 4000 dollars. So much for the customer being happy, Ashley doesn't care about you being happy and being a repeat customer, they just want you money, which they will never get again. I will never shop here again nor let anyone I know shop here.
My wife and I bought some furniture from Ashley Furniture in New Braunfels, TX, and among them we bought a sofa and love seat. We bought from Ashley believing that they had decent quality. However, after a week of having the sofa and love seat, the love seat stopped reclining. Also, the sofa leather started to peel.
Also, our neighbors (down the street) bought some furnishings from Ashley with similar issues. It took them a year to resolve them after much effort. As well, my parents bought from Ashely, and they, too, had issues. My parents issues were unresolved and they had to ultimately buy from a different vendor.
My issues, I have emailed Mr. Levits, who I believe to be the president, but have yet to receive a response.
Purchaed sleeper sofa less than three years ago with additional guarantee. Was notified that guarantee does not cover "normal " wear and tear. Glue has come loose and will probably have to replace. This should not happen in such a short period of time. Glue at seams has come apart. Not even a family here. Just myself and room mate. Shoddy workmanship. Ashley willl not take responsibility or eveb asess damage. Very poor customer service. Very poor product. Over a thousand dollars completely wasted.
I was completely misled about a "sales promotion" by the sales rep Cristina and Ryan the manager. Bought $4,500.00 worth of furniture and fell for one of their "special promotions" in order to close the deal - The original "agreement" was 20% down, 54 months 0% apr financing with equal payment. The sales rep made us believe monthly payments would be evenly split out throughout, she showed us on the calculator and computer how the payments would work out. When the first financing bill came in, the financing was done for 36 months 0% apr and no equal payments which means our monthly payments basically doubled. Ryan is not a man of his word. Having signed
Fastforward 3 months, constant going back and forth, extremely rude customer service, poor communication, and having to show up in person to the store only to be neglected and kept waiting for an hour.
I purchased a high dollar what I tought at the tine a Ashley couch. I bought this 2 years ago fro a leading furniture retailer. Within 2 years the frame broke. They sent a national furniture repair place out about 4-5 months ago. They fixed it. Now the whole frame has completely broken. Called the retailer up and hold them what happened. One year warranty(!) is what I was told. Funy that they fixed it after the warranty. Now they basically told me ound sand down a rat hole. I have found out the there a multiple levels of Ashely that I was not told off when I purchased this. For 2 years of owning this couch it has cost me about 400 dollars a year. Money wasted!! If anyone is considering purchasing Ashley item--think again.
My wife and I purchased a living room set from Ashley Furniture on about June 22nd 2015 the couch broke two weeks later and was told that if we want it repaired we had to take it to Brandywine Maryland which is an hour and a half away from where I live to have it repaired and it would take 2 weeks 2 weeks later I received a phone call to come pick the couch up that it was fixed when we got there they had it all shrink wrap up and cardboard and everything try to put it on my truck I told them to open it up so I could check it out and it was still broke so they told me that it would be another week and then they would deliver it to the store where I purchased it from . when I went there to pick it up it was still broke so the manager of the store made arrangements for me to get a new couch the same day. we brought the couch home set it up 3 days later my daughter sat on the center cushion and the runners underneath the couch broke in half so now I'm stuck with another broken couch and another long battle I'm going to have to fight before something gets done about this. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and so far nothing has been done about it at all my next step is to contact an attorney and see where I can go from there
