ASAP Tickets Total rip-off of the sick clientele. My family contracted COVID a day before traveling to Mexico from Los Angeles. I was told that if I sent a doctor's confirmation I could get a refund minus $400 or book another flight. I sent the doctor's report and then the agent named Rustam Z.

I bought ticket during COVID-19 pandemic and immidiately after puchising my ticket flight was cancelled . I found that I signed contract when purchasing was completed ( never happend to me w any other travel agency ) for $250 fee in case that flight was cancelled.
Not able to get my money back even after one year nor able to get full credit for my trip . Agents are unresponsible, rude and use different names each time. Never able to get menager on line to discuss case . Still not able to get any portion of my money back.
ASAP tickets promised to change my return flight dates once I arrived in the Philippines as I had paid the extra charge for flexible dates. My agent was not available for several days and they refused to allow anyone else deal with the issue. When I did finally contact the agent, I she told me that it was going to cost me $826 to reschedule my departure date and the deal she sent me left me over 300 miles from the departure point of my round trip ticket. I got online and found out that Expedia would charge $600+ for the same flight plus the last leg which would take me back to my point of origin.
After taking another tact and contacting customer service on Facebook, I got a slightly better price than their $826 offer, $780+. That was "The best we can do."
I told them that their best was not good enough and to cancel the rest of my flight and refund my money to which their reply was for me to kindly give them my travel dates and email address and they would get back to me.
There is much more to the story than I can document from my laptop on a mountain in the Philippines.
My first experience (pre covid) with them was all in all good, but their promises of refunds and services have been horrible. They say they're based in the U.S. but finding someone who knows what is truly going on and speaks American has been so far impossible for me.

I made reservations in December and my group of 8 went thru ASAP because I wanted to be sure that we all traveled on the same flight internationally going to saudia Arabia. I received a message saying that I must choose another route to fly to I called my representative Darshan and he informed me that saudia canceled their flight so we could stay over in the air port a day and keep the same schedule or we would have to make other arrangements.
I told him that is staying over night in the airport is unexceptionable we could leave another airport or he could change dates I just want everyone to travel together. He said he could not find anything and referred me to call in. I told him It should not be held against me as a flight change because it is not my fault. What if we get COVID they will not want to change our flight because they will say we already change flight.
Darshan told me Please call schedule change team, only they can fix. I tried to fix short connections but Exchange team said to pay extra to fix the flight. Only Schedule change team can fix the flight at no cost but not all flights they will accept to exchange. Please call them , you have confirmation number of all the tickets.
I called and I got masters I called several days he said he would call me back but he never gave me arrangements to cover the entire group after calling him back for weeks I called and got masters. He assured me he could help. He changed my entire flight and instead of giving me arrangements due to involuntary causes he charged me for the change and charged me for insurance again for each one of the 8 passengers.
By this time I went on and paid for it because I had to get arrangements and I had invested so much in the trip. Then a week later I received a schedule change for one of the passengers Dia Fortenberry saying there is a change in schedule. At this time I was quite sure this was a money making scheme and I had been tricked.
I called in and I was informed that when the flight changes due to the airlines there is no charge to the customer nor is their insurance used only if they call in and request a change will their insurance be used or a upgrade be charged. So I accepted the change then I asked her about the previous schedule change that I had and she told me that by looking at the notes I called in and requested a change of schedule which is far from the truth.
I could have kept my original schedule and never change it. I'm requesting a refund for my schedule change fee and insurance fee or $179 per person. And I am requesting and upgrade to business flight domestic and international for all of the hours that I have spent on the phone being transferred, hung up on, pot on hold and transferred to a foreign language line.
One of the calls I stayed on the line well over 3 hours. I am very upset about the service I have been provided and I have 4 more people that want to travel with us and one going to Pakistan but I could never referr them to you all.
Description of complaint:
On 9/24/2021, I purchased 2 RT air tickets from ASAP TICKETS - from DFW to Istanbul from Athens to DFW - traveling in April ‘22 connecting to a cruise to the Greek Islands.
Due to concerns about Covid, I inquired about my options in regards to canceling, changing, rescheduling, and/or getting a refund for the flights I purchased.
The agent, without my permission, cancelled my flights.
I immediately requested my flights/seats to be reinstated. I was told it would cost $1000, due to a fare increase. I said it wasn’t my fault and that I didn’t request my flights to be canceled. I was told my issue was now being handled by Customer Service.
And why would I agree to cancel my flights without knowing how that action was going to impact my purchase cost, ability to change, future flights and/or getting a refund? I would be throwing money away and there’s no way I would do that. There’s no way anyone would do that. We’re talking thousands of dollars here.
The agent was most likely trying to help when he cancelled my seats/tickets. But I never requested the flights/seats to be canceled. I was only checking out my options. He should have been clear about my options. Instead he just acted on his own and cancelled my flights. By doing so, he also cancelled my seat upgrades with Lufthansa that I paid Lufthansa for, directly through their website! This action cost me almost $1000!
I have tried to connect with customer service, a manager, supervisor…anyone who could help resolve this issue. I have received lots of excuses and promises - about my case being escalated to a special team that works to resolve customer complaints. But nothing has happened.
I’m very disturbed with how I have been treated by ASAP agents and customer service representatives.
I really believe they have been focused on charging me more money for the same flights/seats I purchased and they cancelled without my permission.
They have stolen my money.
ASAPTICKETS got their commission. Lufthansa got their money for tickets. I got nothing and I’m out $3500+ for the original tickets and $1000 for the seat upgrades!
ASAPTICKETS are holding me and my money hostage.
I tried to reach upper management but have had no luck.

Went to their website, entered the start and end of the flight, put the date in, asked for a quote.
Got the quote from the website, said had to call the 888 number to book. Called the number, was told quote was no good, that the site takes the best price for THE YEAR and gives that as the quote. and the new quote is $350 higher than the online quote.
I asked on 5/13/21 for a flight quote for 5/14/21 from Newark,NJ to DSM airport, quote came back $101, but you had to call the number to book. Called in, was told quote was no good, that the new price was $458 to book. that the website quoted the best price over the year and they wouldn't honor it. they do have a * beside the quote that if you scroll through 6 pages of ads you can see that they claim the quote may not be the price you'll pay.
They have refused to honor a credit voucher they issued to me after I had filed a chargeback with my bank and a complaint with the BBB for my flight that was cancelled.
The bank chargeback and the BBB complaint was settled after they decided to offer me a partial refund. They told me the voucher would not be issued until after the bank chargeback was closed, the bank chargeback was closed after they gave me a refund and then they issued the credit voucher.
I just tried to use the voucher and now they are telling me that if I do not get a bankers note/certificate to cancel the chargeback the voucher would be invalidated and would not be honored. This is nothing but an excuse to not honor the voucher and I have correspondence from them in which they have acknowledged that the credit voucher was being issued after the bank chargeback was settled and then the voucher was granted; now they are telling me they know nothing about this even though they themselves issued the voucher as one of the requirements for settling the chargeback, the chargeback was settled after they gave me a refund, however they claim claim to know nothing about the refund which they themselves issued to end the chargeback. They are making these excuses to not honor the credit voucher which they gave me to end the chargeback.
They give these vouchers but then use every trick in the book to not honor these vouchers.
I purchased travel through ASAP and also purchased travel insurance. The Travel insurance states I will get a 100% refund of the ticket price if the flight is cancelled by the airline due to unforseen circumstances. A worldwide pandemic certainly fits the definition of "unforseen circumstances" and Iberia Airlines did cancel the flight. My position is that I am entiotled to a refund of 100% of the ticket price.
Not so fast says ASAP. Whop is going to pay the $300 transaction processing fee? My response - ASAP should pay it because the Travel Protection I purchased from ASAP says I am entitled to 100% of the ticket price back.
Not so fast says ASAP. You only get a refund if the airline refunds the ticket price to us. My response - that is between ASAP and the airline. My Travel Protection contract is between ASAP and me.
Stay far away from ASAP Tickets and don't fall for their Travel protection - accoprding to them it protects nothing.

Complete scam of a business! The phone salespeople are high pressure desperate to make a sale and completely dishonest in how they handle you as a potential client. I purchased 3 tickets from LAX-Palermo to take my elderly mother to see her family. I was happy to see that this agency offered direct flights and I could and match my airline choices. This seemed great on the surface!
"York" a seemingly nice Indian accent fellow paints a nice picture of how beautiful your vacation will be and assures you that the tickets you are shopping for are by far the best price available. What he leaves out if the fact that once you are locked in you must purchase immediately or the price will go higher without the opportunity to purchase those same tickets again.
I kindly shared with "York" that I would need to confirm all of my planned purchases with my partner. He then became short, pushy and very insistent that he would hold the line while I did so. I kindly told him I would call back in a matter of 30 minutes and closed the call. In a matter of 10 minutes I received over 10 phone calls from the other competing salespeople who were hounding me to purchase other fares, different routes, and "extra insurance" to cover my ticket purchase.
I finally made my decision and "York" calls me back on the dot in 30 minutes. I shared with York that I received several phone calls from his competing staff, and he laughed and stated "just ignore them"
I was then transferred to an online portal to purchase my tickets. What ITN leaves out is the actual times and "extra charges" on this form. This is where the scam comes into play. After purchasing the tickets, I receive my receipt. The itinerary that I paid for shows different information than I agreed to and sets me up for very difficult airline flight with my 80 year old mother. I call York back and he verbally assures me that the he will fix the issue on the itinerary. This never happens. I call back the next morning to ask to speak with York and of course there is no one by the name of "York" that works for ITN.
I call customer service and am told the tickets are non-refundable and restricted fares that cannot be changed without paying an additional $500 per ticket. I am now upset, mislead and confused on how I let York or any of his team fool or pressure me into buying from this agency.
