To Whom It May Concern, In March 26 2016, I Melissa Joel and my insurance company State Farm made a contract with ASAP roofing to replace my roof. The roof amount was 13,405.48. State Farm had given myself and my mom Shari Joel a check for 4,584.12 to get the roof started. State Farm aslo had given us another check for 2,381.87, but we held on to that check until the job was done.
I also had to get a loan for 5,000 dollar's through Green Sky to help pay for the roof. I also paid ASAP 1,961.84 at the end of the whole process. I Melissa Joel and Shari Joel signed the check over to ASAP so they could get started on my roof. I being a new home owner did not know that I had to get my mortage company involved with the roofing process and the mortage company had to sign the insurance check as well.
My mortage company wanted ASAP to return the check, but ASAP would not return the check because ASAP had forged the mortage company's name on the check and cashed the check. My mother and I waited seven month's to get our roof reroofed.
In March of 2017 is when I noticed the chimney was still leaking. In the summer or 2018 is when I noticed the crack a long my ceiling in the garage due to the turbines not being replaced. ASAP was suppose to put a ridge line on top of the roof which they did not. I called Roger Walden from Tarrant roofing to come to my house to do ASAP'S job.
I had to fork out of pocket another 1,500 dollar's for rotten decking, ice shielding, turbines, and for the repair of the ceiling in the garage. My ceiling in the garage almost caved into my garage. Why did I have to pay another 1,500 dollar's when I have a life time warranty on my roof. I do have picture's, but I am not computer sabe enough to take them from my cell to the lap top.
ASAP Contracting and Roofing and Contracting of Columbia Illinois (AKA l ASAP Development Group ) lead by William Wilson do not pay their bills.
William Wilson had us jump through hoops and wrap five trucks for him about 2 years ago. We’ve been pursuing him with calls, emails and visits all during that time.
They have tried to surreptitiously change company names in order to avoid all responsibility for their trail of bad business deals.
Mr. Wilson has many other claims and tax liens against and is a con-artist. He gave many false promises to resolve this account and never did. His staff at ASAP are just as bad, Chris and Sue are trained debt avoiders and are in on the fraud with William Wilson.
We also had several reports of horrible faulty roofs done by this dubious firm.
