Arizona Tenants Advocates they could legally end my lease by writing letters stating that the apartment complex failed to complete repairs I asked for after 10 days. They said I would get my security deposit back otherwise the apartments would have to repay me 3 times the deposit. They said that It shouldn't go on my credit report because we legally broke the lease. That was in December of 2016. It is still on my credit report and my history still says I broke the lease. This affects my ability to rent and my credit score. I never received my deposit back. I had to return to their office seven times to compose letters to refute the lease break and it is still unresolved. After every letter, I asked " what should I expect? Their response was "That's it. We told them why you ended the lease due to their fault" He said that every time and then a new letter from their lawyer would come in the mail.
